This is a perfect place to stay if you are headed to St. Augustine. The location is a very short walk to downtown and the house is next to a McDonald's in case you're hungry when you get home! The patio out back is a great spot to sit and relax. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to the area!

Bungalow as exactly as advertised, close to attractions and excellent restaurants. Enjoyed all the facilities including grill and cable TV. Would recommend and definitely use again.

But a bit sketchy of a street/spot. Loud bikes and partiers at night; don't think I would walk alone there. House backs right next to the McDonalds at corner of Rt. 1 and I can imagine staying there in summer could be a different experience because the McDonalds garbage is right there. Owner/property manager does a lovely job however creating an enclave, the decor is so fun and we made a game of counting all the Fla. panthers! Everything was so super clean and the beds and everything else comfortable. It would have been nice to have a few clothes washer pods on hand and I think a few more kitchen staples might be nice. We did finally find a salt and pepper shaker on hand hidden behind one of the cabinet separators and appreciated the one roll of papertowels that went quickly because no kitchen rags available. A baking pan, standard 9x11, would be a good addition and a few more eating utensils. Cooking utensils could also use a refresh. Small size aluminum file and saran wrap to help guests put stuff away or replace oven lining, for example might also be nice. Most people might not care about this stuff though because this was a lovely place to stay and a pleasant walk to all sites that was much more affordable than a downtown area hotel. I am sure I would stay again with my family if we had the chance to visit the area again! Thank you!

This home is lovely and the location is great! The listing and pictures are accurate. Annette and Stephen were helpful and very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay in their home again.

Property was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. Decor was nostalgic of Florida. Within walking distance to town, excursions, trolleys,
and restaurants but be prepared to walk.

If we could leave 10 stars, we would! Conch Bungalow is a lovely house, and Annette was the most welcoming of hosts. She thought of everything to make us feel at home, from the carefully curated decor to helpful signage and coffee pods in the kitchen. Annette clearly cares about her guests and understands hospitality better than most. The neighborhood and location were great too!
We had a wonderful time in St. Augustine, especially thanks to where we stayed. Thank you, Annette! We’ll be back!

Thank you Annette and Stephen for opening your home up to vacationers. This quaint bungalow was the perfect home away from home and we felt so welcomed from the second we opened the door. Everything was so organized and well decorated and completely gave the Florida vibe! I loved all of the decor including the paint colors. We were so sad on the day we left, we truly didn’t want to leave. We will be back for sure !
P.S. - the beds are sooooo comfortable - I slept like a baby!

What a great little bungalow and perfect for a quick weekend getaway! We stayed here with a couple of friends to quietly celebrate my husband’s birthday and show them around time since they had not been there before. Great communication with the host before, during and after the stay.
Comfy, cozy, clean and less than a mile from the historic district (we Ubered most times since it was rainy but did walk once) Beds were super comfortable, bathroom shower had good pressure, and all the windows provided as much natural light as you wanted. My only negative is that I didn’t notice the part in the description (it was there, I just missed it) that there is only one toilet, although that ended up not being a real problem for us. Bathroom was large enough for both of us women to primp/get ready with no problem! Lots of neat Florida decor all over, but looks great!
Beautiful, peaceful back yard space for coffee and bird/squirrel watching in the morning. McDonald’s a very short walk down the block to grab a breakfast sandwich or snack. Quiet neighborhood.
We will definitely stay here again. My husband and I are looking to downsize soon and we both told each other the same thing after our stay: afterwards, “I fell in love with that place! Something like that is all we need!”

"Old Florida Bungalow" that's been well-maintained and updated. Family of three rented for 4-day weekend. Home was exactly as listed, very clean, and was more than comfortable for our family. This is not just a Rental Home, but is the Owner's Vacation Home as well, and it showed. Easy walking distance to Historic Downtown Area, we used our car only once..... to drive to the Lighthouse. We will definitely rent agin on our next trip to St Augustine.

This was an amazing property. Super clean and very comfortable.
Host has gone out of the way to make this a great experience and we would recommend this property to our friends. It is a small distance from the tourist area so budget for parking in town but overall, a wonderful place to stay and unwind in this beautiful city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Conch Bungalow! It was perfect for our family of 4. Annette was a pleasure to deal with. Her instructions are very detailed and clear that we had zero issues. The beds were super comfy. The living area was as well. She had plenty of coffee pods for the keurig. Travel size shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and body wash. Hair dryer, plenty of tp and paper towels etc. It was so nice to not have to run out to the store every day bc we forgot something or ran out of tp. We didn't cook bc there are so many great restaurants in St. Augustine, but the kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls, glasses etc. I think my personal favorite extra touch was the white noise makers in each bedroom! We sleep with fans on at home and this was perfect! The neighborhood is peaceful and we all slept great!
We spent most of our days touring St. Augustine. It's better to walk to town from Annette's than to drive and park. It's a 12 minute walk to St. George Street. Driving and finding parking took at least 20 minutes and cost $15!
St. Augustine is adorable and so much to see and do. Our kids (15 and 9) had a blast.

We absolutely loved the Conch Bungalow! VERY CLEAN! The decor is very eclectic and we enjoyed looking at everything! Lots of cool memorabilia to check out. Beds super comfortable! Outdoor shower was hot, and fun! About a 15-25 minute walk to the happening areas. Excellent and safe location! Would definitely stay here again! Host was super easy to communicate with and responds quikly!

My father, sister, and I enjoyed a long weekend in this lovely home.
This is a very comfortable home in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown. I highly recommend the nearby Raintree restaurant. We enjoyed a lovely meal there!
You cannot go wrong with this property for a cozy get together.

We enjoyed the home. I do believe that listing as 2 bathrooms is somewhat deceiving. One bathroom and outside shower would be a clearer way to list. Other than that, great place to stay.

This property is wonderful and located close to everything in St. Augustine and Flagler College. The interior design is well done and the house is amazingly comfortable. In addition the price is exceptionally affordable. We absolutely loved it!

Perfect St. Augustine Getaway
The location of this home was perfect - close enough to walk to everything except the beach. And one of the best beaches in the state is only a quick 10 min drive away. The house was comfortable for hanging out during the heavy summer thunderstorms and has so much charm it’s just fun to relax inside or outside. I loved the old florida craftsman architecture and design elements with the super fun mid century decor - so much to explore. The birds in the morning were delightful to watch from the front porch while having fantastic coffee from the cafe around the corner. And the collection of unique florida books was outstanding. Sadly, we did not get to use the back deck and outdoor shower much due to the weather, but it’s a great space and the shower is very cool. The street is quiet and feels far away from the crowds, yet everything is a 5 to 15 min walk away. We only needed to drive once during our 6 days there. Highly recommend and hope to stay again when the weather is a bit better.

My family and I enjoyed staying in the Conch Bungalow! Everything was clean and super comfortable. It is literally located close to everything!! I can’t think of one single complaint other than 4 days was just not enough time!! We will love to return in the future!!

We traveled with our son and his wife and had a great time. The house was perfect for 2 couples. We spent time on the back porch and in the living areas. We were out and about quite a bit. This house was perfectly close to town and away from the crowds. Lots of restaurants close to the house and just a 10-15 minute walk to town with lots of shops and restaurants along the way. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. The beds were so comfortable and the air conditioning kept the house nice and cool. Everything we needed was there. My wife and traveled down for a music festival at Anastasia State Park. The location worked very well for us. Close enough to downtown to walk - far enough away not to get all the nightlife clatter. The house was charming, clean and well decorated. A great place to launch day trips to St. Augustine, Anastasia Island and the beach. Only issues we had: Property is adjacent to a McDonald's, although high privacy fences ensure absolute privacy and security, there was some associated noise. The property is listed as 1.5 baths, but we only found 1 full bath. There is an outdoor shower....not sure if that qualifies as a 1/2 bath. Overall my wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely and would certainly return.

Location was perfect and truly enjoyed the quaint , foliaged back yard . Owner very informative, quick to response and thoughtful in providing coffee, tea and a special bottle of local wine on arrival!

This is a great house in a great location. We could walk everywhere, lots of restaurants, shops, and attractions very close by and the St Augustine historic district just a few minutes further. We had no need for a car staying here. The house is charming and roomy, and our one rainy day we enjoyed hanging out there playing games and having some family time. We all loved it and hope to stay here again next time we are in town!
