Our family enjoyed our time at the property- it was a great place for us all to gather. The property managers were incredibly helpful and responsive to the few things that needed attention during our stay. The pool area is the shining star of this home. You can expect the house/ furnishings to be in mostly good shape and as photographed-. The layout of the bedrooms/ shared bathrooms did surprise us a bit despite careful review of photos and listing video tour. Overall great stay!

The house looked much nicer from the photos than it did in person. House needs some TLC and updating. The pool needs to be redone, new pool furniture. The cushions by the fire pit need to be replaced, we’re very dirty. All of the mattresses need to be replaced. There should be 2 washers and 2 dryers for that size house. The dryer took several cycles to dry towels.
The top level is very warm during the day with a noisy portable unit in the master bedroom. It cooled off as the evening approached. Phone service was extremely limited. Be aware that there are a flock of geese on the property. In the morning we had to wash their poop off the deck of the pool. The house manager, Mike was very responsive when contacted after the coffee maker broke. While we had a great time, and the house is conveniently located near the beautiful town of Rhinebeck, we would not choose to return to this property.

Huge, spotless, generously equipped, fun for all! This property had a lot of space: bedrooms and baths were big. Dining table accommodated much bigger group than ours. Play area (ping pong) and theater were a big hit with children. Pool and hot tub made everyone happy. There were a million inflatable toys, and a quick fill inflator made set up a snap. In contrast to several comparably priced VRBO locations we have used, this estate had everything (pool, AC, appliances, lights, doors, plumbing, etc.) in perfect working order. And, again in contrast to others, it was generously equipped with towels (pool and bathroom), paper products (including Kleenex), toiletries, soap (dish, dishwasher, laundry, baby), trash bags and trash barrels. It really made the stay there relaxing for us (the hosts of our group) and our family.

This house had so much going for it! Great location, huge space, every bell and whistle imaginable. Very well furnished and equipped. We had a lovely time, and I can't imagine a place we'd have enjoyed more.

Our family of 16 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. We enjoyed the spaciousness, pool and grill,fully equipped kitchen and exercise room. We would stay there again.

Overall, we had a good experience—16 family members, ranging in age from adult to infant. Opportunities for improvement include too hot on top floor with primary room and attached 2 queen bedroom. We called and the maintenance man brought 3 fans, which helped somewhat. Still remained hot and humid. As for the beds, they were ALL platform beds, meaning all were low to the floor and very difficult for those in the party over 60!! The fountains did not work in the pool, as depicted in the pictures. Several doors had no locks and it’s apparent that areas need to be updated! We did enjoy the pool and large kitchen area and plenty of seating!

The house had many amenities that made staying here so enjoyable. Everything is as advertised and more, with attention to details such as well stocked bathrooms and extra towels. Would go back with a group again.

Great home, conveniently located near town, the train station, and nice hikes! Stayed here with some friends and we loved that there was plenty of space to hang out in the beautiful backyard and eat meals together in the kitchen. Would recommend for a family or group of friends!

The hosts were gracious and accurate with everything listed in the post. The house was beautiful upon arrival and offered everything we were looking for and more.

This house was as beautiful as it seems in the pictures. There were 18 of us in the house and each of the rooms were spacious and we had more than enough beds with 2 to a bed (1 to a bed in bunk bed room). The hot tub was clean and easy to work. The house manager was easy to communicate with and there was no issue during check in or check out.

This is a great place to stay while enjoying the beautiful Hudson Valley. There is something for everyone and the home is large enough to offer privacy for everyone. It is in a very convenient location.

This was a perfect for our weekend. 11 of us stayed at the property for our daughter's wedding. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The theater room was great for Sunday football.

We are a family of twelve and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rhinebeck. The house met all of our needs - comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and fabulous amenities including a theater, fully equipped gym and wonderful outdoors with pool and kitchen. There is a sound system hooked up for the pool and kitchen. There was so much room for everyone to spread out. The house was fully equipped with everything we might need.

Hot tub only worked 4 of 7 days we were there
Heat didn’t work in 3 bedrooms, they came to fix promptly and put in a temporary solution but 3 bedrooms were unequally heated on the same thermostat
A small leak in bedroom closet with rusty water
Fridge was not always cold enough

Our extended family stayed for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. It was the almost perfect place to gather and spend time together cooking in the very well equipped kitchen, beautiful living room, dining room that easily accommodated our large group, and have fun in the rec room and movie theater, and walk the grounds. I wish we had had more time there! The "almost" qualifier is the bedroom situation which is a bit tricky for adults, as opposed to young children and teenagers, as there are several bedrooms that require walking through other bedrooms. Still - it was an overall wonderful place to spend a few days and I think would be a great stay in any season. The caretaker was very responsive and checking in and out was super easy.

We rented this property for my 40th birthday with some friends and had a wonderful time! It was great location wise to the town, clean and a great setup for a large group. The property is well kept and really private, which was nice. We had a wonderful time and would recommend renting this place for sure!!

Perfect retreat
Four families (9 kids and an infant) all enjoyed a perfect weekend at this house. The grounds were amazing and everything in the house was perfect. The movie theater was a big hit and gave the parents some needed down time with the kids entertained. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We will be looking to rent here again. Updated furniture, very clean, amazing outdoor set up. It was perfect
