The breakfast was great.

The room looked a bit updated.

Dirt in the bathroom and on the towels , the bed looked dubious we left a day early and took another hotel

Location of the hotel was excellent.

We were supposedly upgraded in our room to a room which had a balcony. The balcony was scruffy and had not been swept it was also shared with another room no privacy screen just plants (we did not use the balcony).The patio door handle in the room was completely broken and came off in your hand the door could not be shut securely and kept fully opening (we were advised that there was an issue with the patio door but we did not realise how bad it was until we had been shown to the room and, payment for our stay had already been taken upon our arrival!)we eventually had to put some cardboard between the door and frame to secure as the door would just open fully day/night. We had not booked breakfast in our original booking and upon arrival we asked if we could have breakfast. We were advised that there was an issue with breakfast they could not provide this as per the hotel's advertisment at the present time due to clients that were staying in the hotel, we were advised we could have the breakfast which was provided for them at no charge although this was not suitable and a disappointment. No refreshment facilities in room.

Location is wonderful. Just 2 minutes walk to the U bahnhof and 15 minutes walk to the Tonhalle. Also staff is amazing, and by staff I mean Mr. Marcel who upgraded my room as a generous gesture and also offered me a city ticket to use all means of transportation for free :)

Looks like they don't fix things immediately; for example the balcony door lock was damaged. But, they was a small thing. The overall experience was amazing.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect. It's a short and pleasant walk to Konigsallee through the park, and all the shops and food outlets you need are just across the road. The Nordstrasse metro stop is 1 minute away.

Noise at night from other guests
