The holiday house is like a home with everything we need! Nice location right beside the river and with walking distance to the beach; in the middle of the KI, not too far from all the major attractions.

We loved our stay in this fantastic property. Really appreciated all the advice from Ros in the information sent out, loved seeing the possum on the verandah and wallabies in the garden every evening.
Located near one of the most beautiful beaches ever.
Worth taking Ros’ advice and bringing supplies from mainland as the local shop has limited choice
Though we tried twice we never managed to see the penguins !

Loved stay at KangaStay and would definitely recommend it to friends. Quiet and secluded. Minutes from a beautiful beach Comfortable, lots of books and games, well stocked pantry, good BBQ, help when needed. What else would you want?

Very neat and tidy home with plenty of room to spread out. We loved hanging out on both the front and back deck. Plenty of reading material, DVD player and CD player for entertainment. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom nice and clean. The second toilet in the laundry room was great for when the main bathroom was being used. The instructions for the property and the checkin/checkout procedures was clear and easy to follow. Overall a great experience on Kangaroo Island.

Very well appointed house in Vivonne bay. Plenty of room to spread out with front and back balconies. Beds were comfy and the bathroom clean with nice warm shower. We enjoyed our stay and was a great spot to visit other parts of the island.

Enjoyed our stay. It was clean, had a stocked pantry and a short stroll to the river. Managed to catch ourselves a couple of squid from the jetty, unfortunately couldn't walk there as it is about a 10 minute drive away. Overall we all had a great time

Convenient location - very close to the river which is great for fishing and kayaking. Beach only a short walk away. Very quiet, nestled among trees. Enjoyed relaxing and eating on the front deck. Had some visits of a cute possum and spotted wallabies in the neighbourhood.
The house is spacious with all the facilities we needed. Can definitely recommend!

Really lovely property, very clean, WONDERFUL beds, lots of extra bed linen if needed, loads of ingredients in pantry, extra toilet was very handy with four adults in our family.
Bonus was seeing a wallaby feeding right next to access steps one night.
If we come back to KI, I would love to stay here again. Thanks!

Well equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ, nice spacious 3 bedroom with outdoor deck. Owners clearly care about local wildlife and enhancing the experience for visitors.

We had a wonderful holiday at Kangastay. Everything was clean and comfortable and it was easy to feel at home straight away. The little extra comforts that you can see all throughout Kangastay make it even more relaxing. We will be back one day!

The house was lovely. Good balcony area for alfresco dining and the option of sitting out the back also. The house is built on a slope so access is either via steps at the front or walk up to the back entrance. Clean. One bathroom, two toilets.

Kangastay was comfortable, clean and had everything we could have needed. The power cut was a bit disconcerting, but Dean managed to get the water pump going again, and helped us divert a flooding, having left the tap on in the kitchen sink with the plug in. Thanks for providing such a lovely spot to stay and enjoy the wonders of KI.

Great location, great open living/dining/kitchen area. Kitchen utensil, glasses etc okay, at least it's all there (might need an extra wash before using, seems the previous tenants didn't leave them as clean as they might have found them, not a big deal). We definitely would love to come back :)

Easy parking.Natural setting, 1wallaby paid us a visit. Comfy king size bed. Enjoyed breakfast and coffee's alfresco on the balcony. Great.

Beautiful, private space with easy access to Vivonne Bay. Clean and well-appointed kitchen. Plenty of games and puzzles if indoor activities are in the cards! Good communication by the owner, who graciously helped me with a timing issue.

Kangastay is a perfect location for a relaxed and comfortable stay on Kangaroo Island. It's set in a bush setting with native animals close by. It is well equipped with everything you need and has a good selection of books etc with information on plants, animals and birds of the area. It is a handy location for the West end of the Island and is just over an hour from the Ferry port.

Ros' place is a perfect place to stay for people who are interested in a quiet, relaxing, non touristy area, and don't care about the latest mod cons. It is comfy, had everything we needed, and we felt as if we were in our own family holiday house, rather than in a commercial rented space.
