Short, stay, but delightful.

Very convenient location, close to Main Street for shopping, dining & visiting the museum. Loved the jetted tub, comfortable bed and the quiet neighborhood.

We weren’t able to check in at checkin time and wifi/ cable was out. Host was also slow to respond to messages. Place was okay, comfortable and convenient location

Room was very dirty blood on the toilet, bedding was dirty like if someone slept in it and they never change sheets. The whole place was dirty and dusty the floor had dirt all over the place so yeah my stay could have been a lot better

Quaint and cozy cottage, perfect for our stay. This was our 1st trip to Fredericksburg and enjoyed wine tasting, walking around downtown and Travis Cottage put a nice bow to our trip-thank you!

Booking.com misrepresented the cottage by featuring pix of the larger home rental. While the conversion of the former garage was very tasteful it is not suitable for rental in Winter. If you decide to rent it, the local Vacasa manager is terrific, it the cottage is what it is: a fair weather-only dwelling.

Great location for seeing Fredericksburg, just a couple of blocks off Main but away from the lights and noise when you want. Good size cottage, comfortable bed and bedding, nice jetted tub.

Convenient and cozy- great value for the money!

Had a lot of fun. Cute little place. Easy walk or drive to Main. Bucs Bar on Llano was fun spot that was close by. Everything was clean. My husband really liked the pillows

The Travis Street cottage is charming and romantic! I was a little concerned reading the reviews saying that the cottage was on the property of another rental but we never even noticed. There is a separate driveway and fire pit area so it felt more like the larger home was just a regular next door neighbor. I was also concerned that there was only a tub and no shower. This was a touch awkward as taking a shower requires you to hold the nozzle handle because there is no high hook to hang it from to shower hands free. But it was a very minor inconvenience and having the jetted tub definitely made up for it! The rest of the cottage was fantastic and exactly as pictured. The company offers many sweet touches like snacks and coffee to make your stay a little sweeter. Their service is also wonderful-our key cards were accidentally deactivated and we couldn’t get in one night after dinner. After a quick call to the company-they had a local representative there within 10 minutes to left us in! I would highly recommend this lovely cottage for a romantic getaway!! The company also does not charge outrageous “property fees” like I noticed some others in the area do! 10 out of 10 :)

Great property. Be sure to have your door codes from the property manager before you get there. I had trouble getting the emails with arrival instructions. Once we arrived we had to wait for property manager to get back to us so was a little slow checking in. Lots to do in Frederdricksburg so not too bad waiting.

Perfect room, clean, cozy, everything we needed. They even stocked the room with some snack, drink, baked goods, and coffee. All the essential are already in the room it was perfect. Free parking and check in and out was a breeze with the lockbox. Highly recommend, don’t worry about there not being a front desk the home owner and property managers are very attentive and just a text away from and questions or concerns you may have.
