We loved our stay here. The cottage was very clean upon arrival. We loved the little basket full of towels and a sheet for our dog. The arcade in the 3rd bedroom was a hit with the kids. The beds were comfortable. The area is very quiet. There aren't as many winter activities in Garden City, but the cottage is easy access to downtown and the few restaurants that are open this time of year. It's a beautiful area and we would come back any time.

The Shore Fun cottage had everything we needed. It's in a quiet neighborhood in a super-central location. We were close to the main Garden City spots and could walk to the Heritage park in just minutes. If you're concerned with reviews that say the house isn't stocked well, know that has been addressed - the kitchen had pots, pans, appliances, flatware, cutlery... you name it. So thoughtful to have the pet supplies available as well. Would absolutely return.

Very nice vacation home.

Very clean, conveniently located house. Close to restaurants and a short drive to the beach. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and soaps) were all provided. Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast too (dishes, cooking pans, coffee maker, waffle maker…). Thanks for a great weekend!

Nice little house with plenty of room inside for our little family. We did expect a small yard to play in so that was a little disappointing but still very nice.

This is a perfect rental for up to 4 adults and up to 6 kids! We didn't have that many, but it would work! The bedrooms are very roomy. The hosts had a special dog box with essential pet supplies that made everything so easy. A few suggestions: provide a scrub brush for the kitchen! It was nearly impossible to wash dishes with only a bottle brush to be found and no dish cloths. Also a bigger mat in front of the door! Especially in the winter. We kept stepping in our puddles from our snowy boots. That's it. Everything else was perfect!

The pacman game was fun! :D

Overall, excellent experience! This home was very well stocked with kitchen items and towels. Great location. Close to Garden City and nice beach access. We had a great time!!

Property was new, clean and comfortable. There were seven of us who stayed. It’s smaller than the picture showed especially the outside property. There was absolutely no place to park our boat.

First the suggestions for improvement: More thorough cleaning. We spent a little over an hour cleaning after we arrived. Floors had been swept, but obviously not mopped in quite some time. Under beds and the couch hadn't been cleaned and we found lots of dust, used tissues and napkins, as well as various dog toys. Lots of food stuck in the slats of the kitchen table. Rest of home was very clean though. There are no window coverings for the sliding glass door. A couple of the plastic patio chairs were broken. There was a large rip on one of the couch cushions, but it had been sewn previously. There really isn't much of an outdoor seating area. Bunk bed mattresses were very uncomfortable. Other than the areas for improvement, this was a great home that my family and I would rent again. Great location, easy walk to the beach at Bear Lake, quiet neighborhood and excellent view of the fireworks display during 4th of July. Great Stay.. The location is close to town, the lake & lots of UTV trails.. Really clean property!

This is a nice little place. Great location for dogs. Dog park very close. The only bad part was the house down in the corner wouldn’t keep their dog from roaming anywhere and everywhere so we had to keep trying to avoid wherever the dog was at. Very large dog too. The beds were very very firm. My husband and I both need a chiropractor appointment. Luckily I brought a heating pad just in case and it was used. The Vacasa owners were fine but have no clue what amenities are actually on site. I sent a message about the coffee maker after seeing another review and was told only a one cup Keurig was available but when we arrived there was a 12 cup Mr Coffee. If the mattresses were softer we’d stay again but until then we will find another place.

We would definitely stay here again, and I will recommend this particular property to anyone visiting Bear Lake. The place is nice and comfortable. It is in a good location, tucked off the main road. It was clean for the most part. I would have given it a five-star rating, but I had to sweep under the couch and beds, which looked as if it hadn’t been done in a while, and there was some pet hair that was on the floor near the couch, and my allergies started to bother me shortly after arriving. The spaces under the couch and bed are very easily accessible, so I think the cleaning service for which guests pay as part of the reservation should make sure to clean those areas. Some mugs would be nice to have as there are two different coffee makers provided. It is really nice to find a place with two bathrooms with plenty of clean towels.

This is a very clean and new property, but I feel like it is oversold a bit. This is a modular home in a trailer park. The pictures make it seem larger than it is. Again, very nice property, but I thought I was getting more for the price.

Happy overall with our stay. Kitchen could do with more pots and pans, TV in Master bedroom would not connect to Netflix or Amazon Prime other two tv's did. Baseboards are not cleaned very well in the bathrooms, and the pillows in main bedroom were very flat and uncomfortable. We really enjoyed the place apart from these 4 items. Would definitely stay again.

This property was perfect for our needs with 2 married couples, 1 young adult, 1 teen and 1 dog. The two biggest reasons I booked this location was that it was one story with no stairs and allowed our dog. Good showers, good beds, and easy to use for those with limited mobility issues.

Cozy little place, very nice overall. Only issue was that there wasn't anywhere to put the garbage at the end of our stay and we had to drive around town until we found a dumpster.

The home fit our family nicely, 3 adults 5 kids under 13. The home was not as clean as we would like. Empty water bottle found at the bottom of the bedding of one of the bunk beds when we arrived. Broken toilet paper roll. Sand on the floor when we arrived the floor through out had not been mopped. Cleaners still here when we arrived at 4:00 said they were mopping their way out but we walked in as soon as they left and floor was not damp, bottom of our feet and socks (requested no shoes) were black with dirt. Bathrooms were clean. The home was nicely stocked with necessities.
