Liberty House was quite possibly one of the best accommodations we have stayed in. Everything about it was quality, from the decor and furnishings, to the beds and kitchen equipment. We loved staying here, it was easy to walk into town where there are plenty of restaurants and cafes, and it was central in the area to be able to access many walks and beautiful countryside.

Not a major problem but the property is situated on quite a busy main road which can be a little noisy in the front bedroom, particularly at rush hour in the morning, however this would not put us off from returning.

Liberty House was a gem in the Derbyshire countryside. The house had everything we needed to make our stay feel like we were in our own home. The kitchen was well equipped to cook at home when we weren't out at a restaurant / pub. The lounge was comfortable with 2 couches, TV and a coffee table and the dining table was also a welcome place to spend some time. The location is great - a short walk into Ashbourne and a relatively short drive to the many places to visit in the Derbyshire Dales. Claire's folder of information was excellent. All in all, Ashbourne is a great town to visit and Liberty House is a really great place to stay.

The only thing that perhaps could have been improved were the pillows. But this certainly didn't detract from the overall fabulous location and set-up. The bed was really comfortable and it is in a very quiet location just near St Oswald's church.

It was quirky and thoughtfully decorated. Had real character.

The property was absolutely stunning! lovely decor, so comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous. the courtyard garden was the perfect place to sit and enjoy the morning and evening sunshine. It was one of the first holiday homes we have stayed in that had a brilliantly stocked kitchen with the utensils and equipment to enable us to cook a meal. We loved being able to walk into town to explore the quirky shops and restaurants. The lovely host Claire was attentive and we felt really looked after.

There is nothing not to like about this house. It is a lovely property in a great location.
