Very nice hotel directly across the beach (and surf spot), with pool, good food and friendly personnel. The internet connection is very stable, perfect for working remotely. The rooms are spacious - perfect for a vacation in Weligama.

Pool is great and very clean. Local restaurant has huge portions and is very convenient to have it in the hotel. All of the surf spots/schools are right outside the hotel.

We had a lot of mosquitoes in the room, but the staff were helpful enough to give us a mosquito-catcher which cleared the problem.

The room was spacious. The staff really friendly. Nice sitting area off of our room and great view of the pool.

this is the beast place we’ve stayed in Weligama! the breakfast is tasty, the wifi is high speed, the generator is working during power cuts. nice and clean rooms, no insects inside, pool is always clean, the terrace are on the second floor is my favourite place!

Very good location. Very clean hotel. Room was lovely. I had a problem with my bank card and could only get money from WesternUnion. However I had to wait 2 days because it was weekend. The hotel Manager was very sympathetic and even offered me money until I got sorted. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay here and wished we could have stayed longer! We especially loved the pool - it’s kept very clean, very comfortable sun loungers, with the option of sun all day (but also adequate shade options), and privacy around the pool that’s surrounded by plants. The main host was also very friendly and helpful.

Close to beach and in the sametime, very calm. People over there were so kind, this is the key!

It's definitely not the Mandara or Marriott nearby, but then it sells for cheaper than those. But it ticks all boxes without any feeling of luxury, so for some people yes it is a good choice. * Very friendly service, and good meals (breakfast included, dinner a la carte) * Good WiFi * Smallish but clean pool * A few steps across the road to the surfing beach. Which also means lots of weekend noise at the front side rooms from parties there.

* Rooms a bit small and basic, with e.g. cold water in bathroom sink but good hot shower. Bed is basic, AC was far too noisy hence switched to the fan * (And sadly lousy facemask discipline for guests and staff, but that is a bit common in the area)

Amazing location right on the beach, good breakfast. The room was big, beds were very comfortable and a nice balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful with arranging our travel to Unawatuna.

Pretty basic hotel for the price, especially compared to lots of other places in Sri Lanka but I think that’s the case with most places on the south coast.

Staff is amazing and very helpful. Rooms are great in EVERY sense. Breakfast is good. Location is perfect! Kinda pricey but totally deserves it!

Beautiful pool, super sweet and helpful staff and good location as the beach is across the road. The staff were so smiley and attentive and that was lovely. I had lunch there too which was nice.

I think it's quite expensive for what you're getting. I did say in the morning I'd be leaving that day by checkout, but once I got to my room I felt so tired and decided to have a quick shower and ask if I could stay another night. Check out time was 11am, but I think from about 11.06 I could hear knocking, knocking, more non stop knocking whilst in the shower. I answered and they said they needed to get the room ready for other guests. I then decided then that I didn't want to stay any longer, as I am used to having at least a half an hour grace period and not to be told to leave minutes after check out time. It's a real shame as everything else was good, but it left such a bad taste for me that I moved on. Sorry, I don't relish saying this, but if check in time is 1pm - 2pm there would be lots of time to clean as it's a small place with lots of staff. I feel bad, but it has to be said. Also, there as a lot of building noise also when I was trying to sunbathe.

We had an absolute wonderful stay at Weligama Ocean Breeze. what sets this location apart from many of the other locations we started at was the AWESOME staff that exceeded all expectations, always with a smile. The pool was a added bonus! Be sure to see us again on our next visit to Sri Lanka

My partner and I had a great stay at this hotel. Before we arrived we were informed there was work being done to the swimming pool, but for this inconvenience we were upgraded to a deluxe room. The room was very comfortable, with a lovely balcony and a large bed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were cooked a large breakfast everyday. Also extremely close to Weligama beach, with surfboard hire next to the hotel. We would recommend this hotel highly if staying in Weligama.

Sajith gave us a wonderful 9 Night stay. Pool, Room and everything in the area is clean. You can choose for breakfast: Local, Healthy and Western Style breakfast. Everything was fine. Dinner was very good too. It’s close to the beach and you can rent a scooter through the hotel. Sajith makes everything happen :)
