The location on edge of old town. Most of the staff were good and helpful. Rom 401, deluxe, had a good size with fridge and view.

Size and layout of bathroom not good e.g. no storage space and shower/ tap water had rapid temperature fluctuations - cold or very hot. Fairly dangerous! No glasses or cups (or coffee/tea facilities) or promised welcome refreshment provided. And where was the 'executive' lounge? Breakfast mediocre. Not our idea of a 4*hotel.

Staff were very helpful at all times, great room, shower and parking was extremely secure, when we booked at short notice we had fairly low expectations staying here, but this hotel was excellent. We are so glad we stayed here and if we are ever in the area again, we will stay here again. The downstairs restaurant is an absolute lifesaver after a long day driving.

Friendly personnel, very nice room and bathroom, location close to restaurants and bus terminal. Option to keep your luggage when you hike the Quilotoa loop.

Quiet position in Latacunga center (10 minutes walk from bus terminal). Friendly and helpful staff, they kept our luggage while we went hiking. Laudry service is available. Tasty and plenty breakfast (fresh fruit, eggs, juice..)

Sure, this is a hotel, but what I will remember is that the food here is really, really good. We arrived here on a bus from Quito that got in kind of late—after 8 or 9 pm—and were really hungry. We were directed to the hotel's restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the meal that we were served. We stayed one night and departed early in the morning, but I won't forget how much I enjoyed that meal!

Noise can carry from the common area(s), i.e. near the reception/restaurant, up to the rooms.

Comfortable and clean.

Decent sized big room and clean. Hotel provided daily housekeeping and breakfast was good. Great location, everything was in walkable distance. Hotel also had great wifi and Netflix. Hotel staff were very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage for free for a few days while we climbed Cotopaxi. Hotel allowed us to use their microwave and sit in their dining area even late into the evening when we had leftover takeout food that needed warming up. All in all, great hotel and would not hesitate to come back!

- Cleanliness - Bedroom including comfort of bed - Location being close to two lovely squares - Excellent wifi - The hotel kindly organised a taxi driver for us. His cost was reasonable and he even organised a tour guide for us at Cotopaxi. That said, he wasn't perfect: he used his phone at the wheel and he laughed at others involved in a car crash, something we didn't appreciate.

- Attention to food allergies. We had to remind staff of our allergies and they kept on getting it wrong, serving us with cheese which could have made us ill. Even when we told the staff one day to remove cheese they brought back croissants filled with cheese.

Location, friendly staff

The soundproofing of the rooms is so bad that the snoring of the person in the other room kept me awake. Additionally, I believe the room was used before, as someone came with me while checking in and collected some half empty bottles that looked like alcohol and had to look around for other things, which never happened to me in any hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Endamo while visiting the Cotopaxi/Quilotoa area of Ecuador. The staff were friendly and hospitable, the facilities were clean and quiet, the breakfast was good, and the bed was very comfortable. My husband and I had stayed in two different hotels prior to Hotel Endamo (one in Quito and one in Mindo) and both agreed we got the best sleep so far in Ecuador thanks to the comfortable bed and quiet facility. As for the location, it is on a quieter street and is only about a 10-minute walk to the Latacunga bus terminal (or ~$1.25 taxi when we didn't want to walk) and a 5-minute walk to the main town square and plenty of restaurants/cafes. The last detail that made our visit top-notch is they provided us with bottles of water each day in place of a water filter (for COVID safety). We appreciated having fresh water for hikes and day trips. All-in-all, we highly recommend Hotel Endamo if you are visiting Latacunga!

Super nice staff, good breakfast, quiet rooms, walking distance from the main bus terminal. The hotel stored our luggage while we completed the Quilotoa trek.

No real issues - we had a little trouble with the hot water that was resolved quickly after notifying the staff. The hotel is a little lacking in personality, but it was a great choice for a comfortable mid-range stay in Latacunga.

We specially appreciate the kindness of the owner who made a breakfast box for us when we had to leave early.

they charged me a lot more than the reservation on booking stated. I later double checked & showed them; they refunded me without problems. still a weird feeling that if I hadn’t checked the price again they would have just gotten ~15$ more..

Everything was great, they even offered me a room upgrade upon arrival since the hotel was low in reservations. The breakfast was perfect and they even offered to open the restaurant the evening I arrived, but I chose to head out to a local spot.

Nothing stands out for improvement in my opinion.

Shower was warm, not hot. Apparently there’s some mystery lever to make it hotter. We heard this news at checkout! Pillows were very hard and high. Noisy in the evening as sound carried from reception or halls. A smoke alarm over the bed flashed brightly every 5 seconds. Motion lights lit up the room from outside our draped windows. All this conspired to make a very difficult sleep!
