The room was really huge. It has an amazing terrace where you can relax and watch the sunset. The bed was very huge and comfortable. The restaurant is good. Also there is another restaurant right next to it which is also very good. Staff was really friendly and gave us the feeling of being part of a family.

It is really difficult to find anything bad about the place. Maybe a bottle of water as a welcome would be an improvement.

Had a very pleasant stay here for 3 nights. The room is comfortable. Loved the breakfast arrangement which is free each day. When we arrived Francisco was on duty and was very helpful. Valerie and staff are always attentive and nothing is an issue. We feel like family.

Breakfast was good. Liked the bread, waffles and eggs. Had appetizers by the pool for lunch. Loved the beanbags. Staff was nice. Place was clean. Shower in the room excellent.

It was a wonderful experience. Being a frequent traveller who can compare service, facilities and experience of the top-ranked hotel chains in the world, I highly recommend MAKANI. It is more than a boutique hotel, it is a shared home where the owners will treat you as you were part of their family. I´ll never forget the awesome fire at the beach to celebrate my birthday having my wife on my side, as well as the tasty Malbec wine I received as a gift from Manolo, the owner. We´ve experienced much more than we expected by far. The food was delicious, the bedroom always smelling well, cleanliness exceptional, location unbeatable. I love Makani and from now, it´ll be one my favourite places in the world, but so far, my favourite in northern Peru. Thank you for all that love shared with us, Manolo and Valery. God bless you!

There´s nothing I can say that was bad during my time at Makani. I just recommend wholegrain bread for breakfast. That´s it!
