The staff was super friendly, the room was very comfortable and extremely clean (you can tell it's fairly new). The walk in shower was very nice :) The hotel is in a very quiet area just outside of Bilbao. Great if you'd rather move around by car and stay in a quiet place.

No air conditioning, though there was a ceiling fan, which did the job. The soundproofing to the outside is great: there was a storm the night we stayed. We could see the flashes of lightning but could barely hear any thunder. And since the area looks quiet anyway, it's overkill. However, the soundproofing towards the rest of the hotel could be better. We could hear people talking and opening/closing doors quite a bit.

The food was excellent, the owner very helpful and attentive, the beds were really comfortable and the location was lovely and quiet, whilst accessible to Bilbao.

Beautiful tranquil location. Quality refurbishment with excellent bathroom and exceedingly comfortable bed. Very good home made food too. The hosts were friendly and helpful. A jewel of a find!

I missed a full length mirror and something to put the case on

For example when we arrived it was during the afternoon period when the hotel reception would typically be closed. We would have had around 2 hours to wait seated at patio tables outside the bar area but the manager of the hotel took the trouble to come down, check us in and offer refreshments from the bar rather than continue with her siesta.

Our 2nd stay here and we still love it very much. The owners are so friendly and helpful and have renovated the farmhouse to a very high standard. Excellent rooms with very comfy beds. Also great home cooked food. A beautiful, quiet location ideal as a place to stay en-route to the airport or ferry.if

This was a good place to for our en route journey to our final destination. The dinner was very good and freshly cooked as the breakfast the following morning.

Everything. Tomas, the receptionist/chef was kind, helpful and a great cook, with excellent English which is such a help.

This hotel is a wonderful blend of the old and new,since from the outside it looks like the other buildings in this charming rustic hamlet but inside,it has all the mod cons you would expect in any hotel (lift,top shower fixtures etc) and all very tastefully decorated.The staff were also very friendly and welcoming and paid attention to detail,which all made up for a very enjoyable,relaxing stay! Recommended!

Exceptional location , 40 minutes from Bilbao ferry. Food was delicious.

Bed in disabled room was much too low. Husband struggled to get up with help.

Very modern facilities - great shower/wet room

The dinner and breakfast was good and our host let us eat earlier than normal to accomodate our ferry crossing.

Beautiful quiet location in very small village. Owners are delightful and can’t do enough to assist you. Family run hotel - and with good English. Evening meal freshly prepared and very tasty.
