Location was perfect for relaxing by the beach. The pool although lovely, did look rather unclean. The beach is perfect for running along.
No soap in the bathroom for washing hands and no tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast is a fixed menu over four choices, and although you can request a few changes, the portions were a bit small or set to a certain size so not ideal but they did try their best to accommodate us and our children.

I want to thank Dreamland resort for their compassion and flexibility. We had booked at Dreamland R. but due to circumstances we had to leave early and urgently fly home. Although the cancellation policy had passed, they cancelled the nights we were not able to stay at the resort without a charge. Thanks again so much for understanding our situation and making this exception.. really very much appreciated! Besides the very kind staff and flexibility they are also located on a very nice beach. Great swimming pool overlooking the beach and good food at the restaurant next to it. Also the cocktails served at the bar in the swimming pool was great! A too short but great stay!

Resort is quite old-fashioned. Staff is not motivated and no cleaning of the bungalow during my stay. I had to ask for fresh towels and changing the trash can. When asking for taxi prices they told me a price much higher than in other hotels (e.g. to Thongsala pier 700 THB vs 200 THB) or on the street. The resort and also the area is crowded with families with small kids… no chilly vibes to be honest.

The food here was lovely, beautiful setting eating our evening meals on the beach. The pool was lovely with the swim up bar and the Pina coladas were delicious.
The bungalows were not serviced which we felt was needed, especially as loads of sand was brought in from the beach.
We also had a little bit of a cold reception when we arrived at the resort which left us feeling a little flat when we arrived.

We booked a wooden bungalow for 4 persons for only one night. It went with a spacious bathroom, cozy terrace and well-equiped picturesque beach. But what I liked most was reasonable price per person!
Have to warn you, It's located on a fairly remote part of the island ant it took us a time to get there. Road was exteme and really challenging for unexperienced drivers like rabid mountain serpentine.
When we arrived, the hotel's restaraurant was closed. But we found nice foodcourt and a couple of shops nearby, so there is nothing to complain about :)

lovely location on the beach,typically Thai style room,very dated bathroom,no safe,it was ok but don’t think it was worth the money
old,definitely in need of some tlc,the beach was lovely,didn’t find the people in the area particularly helpful,we couldn’t get a scooter,just told by traders on the street,‘finish’..no good for me

The location was so peaceful and on a really nice beach. The staff were very helpful and the resort was clean and well looked after.
The mattress in our room was very hard, it didn't feel like a mattress at all.
Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay and a brush wasn't provided to sweep out any sand (we were right on the beach) but this was only a minor thing. There also wasn't a fridge to keep any drinks in.

We had a wonderful time at this resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was particularly delicious. The breakfasts were the best we have had in Thailand. The beach was very quiet with lots of shade. The huts were clean and comfortable.

I had pool and ocean views from my bungalow, the swim up bar and pool was great.
Comfy large bed and air-conditioning was a bonus.
Was a lovely beach with many restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Swimmingpool is big and nice. Resort is situated on the beach. Beach and village are not too crowded and rather authentic.
You'd better book the most expensive bungalows. Because the standard bungalows with airconditioning or ventilator are really simple. They have no fridge and nothing extra. I would definitively book a better and bigger bungalow. Since everything was closed during the covid time, it looks like the resort has started again without any new investments. (Which is comprehensive). But some extra maintainance would be necesarry and nice.

the location was fab, the room was pretty decent for the money and the restaurant in the hotel was delicious.
pool could do with a clean and a little TLC.

Nice hotel on the beach,staff was nice situated in a very small town ideal for relaxing
No clean towels or cleaning in 5 days but overall we are happy and we will go again
