The location is very good, the staff looked after us and were very friendly. The breakfast is amazing!
We had a little problem with the shower, but they looked after it.

Great location, next to main road but not a lot of traffic noise. Room was in good condition and clean. Friendly Basque staff.

it was on a busy roundabout. the place felt very rundown. it dead overpriced.

Good location, nice place to have a beer in the evening. Modern and clean rooms, good pressure in the shower.
I ordered a tostada (grilled sandwich) in the evening but left after an hour still not having received it.

We were very warmly welcomed and the very friendly locals that often seem to eat and drink here add an extra warm vibe to this place. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We arrived by motorbike and it seems a popular spot for bikers & cyclists. Can totally recommend a cold San Miguel and the tuna pastry after a long day riding :) The area is beautiful and it's just a 30 minute ride to San Sebastian. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. I can't wait to come back to this area, ride here and definitely stay again at Lopenea.
I think others mention this too but the towel are a bit stale. They could do with a replacement.

Warm welcome, nice place. Agreed to change the date when Booking said we couldn't. Always worth ringing if there is a problem. Gave us information about the town.
Being charged €10 to store bikes over might. Never been charged before. .

Everything was as expected. The town had its fiestas at the time of the visit, so the bar/restaurant downstairs was busy. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking.
Towels in bathroom had a strange smell. No toiletries provided apart from hand soap, but this is not really to be expected. The price was expensive for what it was, but this was probably due to demand due to the town's fiestas as explained.

a bit noisy from the restaurant and street, the food was slightly disappointing. no noise at night so not a big problem

Lovely place, room very comfortable and warm.
Host was very welcoming and pleasant.
Unfortunately parking was a problem, had to drive around for a while looking for a spot.
Room was ok but unfortunately smelt of smoke and fire alarm had been covered up. Was a bit noisy as people sit outside till quite late.

A perfect little stop whilst cycling the beautiful vía verde between San Sebastián and Pamplona. Delightful hotel with friendly staff and comfy room, all in a beautiful town. Couldn’t ask for more - it was great.

Fantastic rustic hostal which one star really is misleading as we spent some nights 3-4 star and this one was our favourite - the owner really helped us with the menu and made us feel very comfortable
