We booked this last minute having changed our travel plans and we were so happy we did. Firstly, Cachi is a gorgeous little town, geared to tourism there is no doubt but done a very low key and appealing way. Thereafter this hotel was just lovely. We had been travelling around Argentina for almost two weeks and looking to book accommodation in the 40-50USD bracket, or less. We had had some distinctly average places so coming here was like, wow! We booked a superior double room at 45USD and it was great; spacious, attractive, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The double bed was huge and there was a sitting area with sofa that was as big again as the sleeping area. The external wall was fully glazed onto a massive balcony. The accommodation was beautifully peaceful and was a world away from some of the places we had experienced elsewhere, in Patagonia and Salta city. Breakfast was “continental” and fairly limited with cereal, toast and a selection of pastries. There is a small private car park behind the hotel plus lots of street parking just outside. The hotel is centrally located, just 2 or 3 minutes walk to the plaza. WiFi is free and reliable.

The only downside was that there were a lot of flies around and if you opened the door to th3 balcony they got into the room.
