This place was exactly as described. The host was fantastic, easy to communicate with. It is in a very quiet peaceful area, seeing deer and turkeys each day. The view is beautiful from the front window or the porch, where you can sit down and enjoy the view. The apartment is only about 8 minutes from town, very easy to get to. The host had a great suggestion for us to have dinner, perfect choice! The apartment is very nice, well kept, spotless, and extremely large. Everything you could possibly need, was there. Not far from Acadia National Park, which is worth going to. The host lives on the same property, not the same house, but you will have all the privacy you will need. They offer themselves if needed, but we never needed them, so we never saw them. Excellent choice if you are looking to book this location.

This apartment was beyond what we imagined. Very clean and comfortable with everything you would need for your vacation stay. The view was beautiful and the deer we saw everyday was an added bonus. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting Maine.

We were very comfortable, felt very safe and the conveniences in the apartment were wonderful. The best compliment is when we say we would stay here again & we would!

Our stay was great. This property was very clean and the best stocked apartment I have ever stayed in. Karen and Tom were very reassuring when Hurricane Ted was headed toward Maine. They reassured us that they had a generator, and we would have electricity. We stayed through what became a tropical storm and went on to Canada. We are very glad that we did.

Perfect location for access to Acadia and surrounding areas. Peaceful property- we saw several deer and some turkeys. Beautiful sunsets. Apartment had everything we needed and Karen was very responsive. We had a lovely time.

Beautiful water views and sunsets. Lots of wildlife everywhere you turn. Located on a very quiet, private dirt road. The apartment is immaculate and the hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended. A+.

Wonderful place to stay. Has everything you need and the location is center to a lot of attractions. Short 25-30 min to Acadia and 40-45 from Bangor. Plenty to see and do. Karen and Tom were wonderful hosts, had full privacy but very quick to respond if we needed anything. Probably the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed as well. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again!

This property was clean and was very secluded, quite and peaceful. Had a great view off of the front deck of the Bay. Kitchen was well stocked. Large bath with washer and dryer. Bedroom was also large with lots of storage for all your cloths. Property was Air conditioned or windows could be open. Overall a great vacation spot. The owners were there for you if needed.

Sea glass way was so relaxing and Karen and Tom were great hosts...A very clean and comfortable place to stay...Great communication... Excellent access to Acadia national park and several surrounding towns... Apartment is just a few miles from town and local Walmart/restaurants...We would definitely recommend staying here!!

Sea Glass Way is a fantastic place to stay! Karen and Tom have thought of every single detail and added so many extra touches to make their guests feel perfectly at home. The entire property is immaculate, everything you need is provided, and Karen offers the perfect level of communication just in case you do need anything. The views from the apartment are great, and the location can’t be beat. It has easy access to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, whale-watching tours, and more. We immensely enjoyed our stay at Sea Glass Way and highly recommend it for a scenic and relaxing vacation!

This unit definitely did not disappoint! Everything was as described. It was clean and cozy. Tom and Karen provided everything we needed for our stay and more! The location was close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park but far enough away to give us plenty of quiet downtime. Ellsworth is a super cute town with lots to do. I highly recommend this unit if you are heading to the area.

This place was a perfect home base for our visit to Acadia. Apartment was clean, fully stocked to accommodate all our cooking and has storage to keep our bikes inside. Very quiet and peaceful.

The property was idyllic. Quiet with a beautiful view of Union Bay. Access to grocery, shopping, Acadia and surroundings was very close and easy to get to. The apartment was spotless, roomy, and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked (owners even left some coffee and water - thank you!). Appliances are all like new, bed was comfy. I honestly have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property. Finally, the owners were the best! They were so prompt to answer my questions and provide guidance. Karen and Tom are two lovely individuals with a gorgeous property. I can't wait to go back :)

We loved this property! It is located just minutes from town (with groceries and good restaurants). Mount Desert Island was an easy drive down rt. 230. The property has the most amazing views. The bay is right there. We were surrounded by nature. The rental had everything you could want. It was very clean. Had everything needed in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable. Just everything you could want. The owners were friendly and very helpful. We would definitely go back there next time we are down east.

After looking for a place to stay while touring ANP and the surrounding area, we were disappointed in the age and condition of some of the available accommodations, UNTIL we found this gem! The apartment is new, clean, well maintained, private, and everything you would want in a stay in the ANP area. We highly recommend this accommodation. From the fresh flowers at arrival to the extras to enjoy while we visited, including day trip cooler and ice pack, beach chairs, beach towels, so many more. If you are like us, and dont really enjoy the rustic older Motels that are in abundance in the ANP area, you will love this modern accommodation. Everything was perfect.

The Hosts were warm and welcoming. The Apartment was stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Comfy reclining couches were the highlight after a full day of kayaking and hiking, and the peaceful evening sunsets on the balcony were a wonderful contrast to the bustle of Bar Harbor. Highly recommended !

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was exactly as noted online. In addition, there were a lot of nice touches that were added that made it seem extra special. There was a nice breeze coming through the window in the evening. We saw wild turkeys out in the yard.

Spotless, comfy, easy to get to area attractions. View impeded by telephone lines. Air conditioning hard to manage. Bed lumpy. Morning coffee, strawberry jam and fresh flowers are a welcome touch. Plus points to return.
