La vue est magnifique, accueil très chaleureux, petit déjeuner très bon. Tout était parfait.

Very clean.
You need a car. The ğroblem is with the staff. Their check in time is between 2 to 8 pm. This is their policy. I request to check in 9 or 10 pm. Send my passports. But I was coming from a long way from Rome with 2 children. It take more than I thought and we arrived at 11pm. Staff was very rude. Even blaming me for telling lie. He said I k ow how long does it take from Rome to here and etc.. He doesnt know how to communicate with clients. He is devoid of empathy. Clean comfortable place but staff is behaving very rude because of too much demand.

It was small but cozy and comfortable. Definitely would be a bit cramped with a third person, even a child. But they have other rooms but I cannot speak to their size. The hot water the first night was wonderful and enough for two, the second night didn’t get the water temp above warm, but good enough for a shower. Bed was more on the firm side, but not excessively so. The temperature was perfect so no need for us to use a/c nor heater, but one was there.
We had the seafood carbonara and it was delicious! Can’t speak for the ragu.
Jasi, the caretaker, was absolutely fantastic. He seemed to be running a one man shop and he did a great job. Communication was always answered within 10 mins, which is great when messaging through booking. He was very kind and extremely hardworking. I am impressed
The only thing that was bad, and it is not the fault of the hosts, if you are driving in from La Spezia, the left turn into the location is impossible to make without a lot of adjustment and it is right after a blind curve in the road. I suggest driving up 50 meters or so, there is a side street on the right, make a u-turn and drive down. Also, reverse parking will save you time in the morning.
You can stay here if you have limited mobility issues, BUT there is a steep path to take (it does have rubber footing to prevent slipping) and a railing. Then depending on the room, there are a few steps. None of the steps are beyond a normal set of stairs. Inside the apartment is flat with no steps. Also, even though the shower is small, there is a bench so you can sit if needed.
Body soap and shampoo available. No conditioner and the hairdryer is not the best. Extra blankets and pillows are readily available. Water is 2€ and no bottles are available upon check in. You must request it a head of time. Also, you must inform the staff for all your meals you plan on taking. If you do not, you are subject to what they have available.
The shower was not really hot. Having to preorder your food.

Breakfast - it depends on personal needs and expectations. Big plus - breakfast is optional here, so you can always discuss and agree on certain options before you order.

the roads are very small - you should also mention FORNACHI for the direction
