Nice apartment on the edge of old town

The location was excellent and the apartment was spacious and highly functional. The historic medieval town of Limburg is wonderful and offers a number of great Cafes and restaurants. Yet, we also had just a few steps walking to the new town of Limburg to have broader access to shopping (e.g. food supply) and transport facilities (train).

Good location, clean property.
First, the private owner asked for a 10 Euro supplement to the Booking price to provide towels and bed sheets which were old and low quality. Then, they asked me to pay another 120 Euros to replace all bed linen as they claimed I had left stains on the cushions they couldn’t get removed. They then rejected my offer to compensate them with 50 Euros and threatened to take legal action. Never seen anything like it.

Love the location and very comfortable apartment. One of the best we have stayed at and the hosts where helpful and welcoming. A little gem will be staying again.

We liked everything about it here. Location perfect, property beautiful with terrace which is sunny in the morning. Kitchen well equipped, everything worked, very clean everywhere, comfy bed, spacious, home from home. Hosts welcoming and gave us good tips on walking ideas and were happy to accommodate our impeccably behaved mini schnauzer. Quiet to sleep at night, lovely neighbourhood. Could go on quite easily! We are traveling from the UK through Europe via Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France- we only scheduled one night in Limburg but wish we had planned to stay longer. It really is lovely- the property and the town.
