Beautiful house in a quiet cove. We are a group of fishing couples that frequently fish Lake Anna and this is the one of best houses we have stayed in. The owner was very responsive to questions and needs including rescheduling our booking due to inclement weather. The house is beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and accommodating to our mixed group. Easy access neighborhood ramp and enough parking at the house for trailers;however you do need to back down the driveway due to limited turn radius. We are definitely returning to this house!

The property was perfect, beds comfortable, view pleasant, kitchen well stocked, and location private and pleasant. Couldn't ask for a better place to unwind with friends for the weekend.

The house was perfect for our needs and so much more! We chose the house due to it’s location close to King’s Dominion for the Winterfest. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and dared a qucik dip in the freezing cold lake. We roasted marshmallows and made s’mores. House was very clean, kitchen had everything we needed, lots and lots of space!

This property was perfect for our family. There were 10 of us and there was more than enough space to accommodate us. Everything was clean and we didn’t have any problems while at the home. The pictures show a nice home but do not do this property justice. It’s much better than what we imagined. I highly recommend it!

House is very nice. The house instructions were thorough and clear. The host was responsive when we had a question. Probably one of the nicest places we've stayed so far (yearly get together). We really enjoyed staying there. It was great that there kayaks and canoes and life jackets for us to use. The washing machine and dryer with ample laundry tabs since was a bonus as one of us got wet after kayaking. It was nice not to take wet clothes home! The dishwasher cleaned really well. We liked the layout of the living room. We had lots of space for playing games, crafting, eating, and lounging. We liked the big table and the gas fireplace. The fire pit down by the lake was terrific. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with cooking and tableware, including kid dishes. No spices or cooking oil, bring everything you might need as well as TP. The beds were very soft, too soft for our group. Very thin and did not provide support. The house is next to a road and you can see the road from the backyard. In the fall there were very few cars on the road, might be a different story in summer.

This was the second consecutive year we have booked this house for our annual guys fishing trip. This house has everything the five of us need. Plenty of space and very comfortable accommodations. We especially like having a very close boat launch and a nice dock for our boats. The house is very clean and it fits our needs perfectly. We hope to be able to come back for a third year. Dan H

Just about everything you could ask for in a vacation rental this place had. Gorgeous setting. Lake was perfect for the 4-year-old because it was shallow for yards. Lots of lake stuff: kayaks, canoe, floats, tons of chairs, fire pit, dock, and on and on. House too. Fully outfitted kitchen. Good biking on lightly traveled roads, if that’s your thing; not too hilly.

Perfect house for a multi-generational family gathering. Care and maintenance is evident. Kitchen is great andwell equipped.

This was our 2nd visit to Lake Anna, but 1st visit to this property. There were a few issues with the septic system but the owner was easy to reach and prompt with having service companies handle the issue, so it did not negatively impact our vacation. There is minimal cell service at this property, but we had no issues with the internet wifi at the house or dock. The house is probably the cleanest we've stayed in and definitely the best stocked for a big family. The owner is also the most organized I've dealt with through vrbo or other owner rental sites. Great outdoor space with plenty of shallow water for our younger kids and deeper water off the dock for jumping into. We loved the kayaks, especially the junior kayaks! There is a road adjacent to the side of the house that overlooks the end of the cove and dock, but it's not a busy road and the far side of the dock still felt private. The owner listed nearby activities but we preferred to stay at the lake fishing, swimming, and kayaking. With 6 bedrooms and 4 baths, there was plenty of space for our 3 families. The extra fridge and ice maker were the iciing on the cake since we prepped all of our meals at the house. We've already booked for a week next year!

Our family of 14 really enjoyed our time together on Lake Anna. Property is as listed with an outstanding kitchen . We even made a cake! Dining table was long enough to handle a large puzzle at one end and meals at the other. We used all the provided kayaks and the canoe along with renting a pontoon boat. Kids caught quite a few fish from the shaded dock. Great fun, would rent again.

Robert thought of just about everything for this getaway. The kitchen is ACTUALLY fully stocked, which is usually our biggest complaint. Quiet cove, lots of sleeping space, clean, well furnished. Will rent again.

The water is awesome...Love that it is shallow for a large part of the area so the little ones can play in the water. Also, being at the end of the cove makes any wakes pretty much nonexistent. The inside has foosball, ping pong and games which were great, since we had multiple days of rain. Communication was very easy and I had responses to any questions quickly.

Overall the experience and house was wonderful!

My fiancé and I joined my daughters and their husbands, my grandchildren (ages 5 and 8) and my mother (88) for a birthday/Mother’s Day weekend in May. The fishing was excellent and the kayaks were such a treat! The lake was very quiet and we had the protected cove virtually to ourselves. Easy access to the water was especially appreciated. We also loved the ping pong table! The kitchen was massive and the house easily accommodated our group of 9. We rented a pontoon for a day from Mobile Water Sports; they delivered and picked up the boat and were great to work with. The host was very easy to contact as well. Highly recommend.

Had our annual guys fishing trip at the house and it’s by far our favorite place we’ve stayed at so far out of the five years we have been doing this. Major bang for your buck with this place. Awesome dock space in a sheltered cove. Hope to stay here many times in the future to come…!

Excellent property. Quiet. Good HVAC. Well stocked.

We had a fantastic experience on the warm side of Lake Anna in this spacious and well appointed home. Lots of bedrooms (bunk room has 6! Queen sized beds) and bathrooms (4) to help us be comfortable with two living rooms- downstairs for the kids with ping pong, fooseball and a great tv for movie watching, upstairs has a gas fireplace and TV for the grown ups. Plenty of kitchen space and absolutely everything you could want for dishware and cooking- including a crockpot! Easy to find and lots of lake toys and land toys to boot! Enjoyed the fire pit at night- bring your own firewood. Thanks for a great stay with excellent WiFi, peace and fun!

Very nice home! Nice private location. Perfect layout for family gatherings! Fully stocked kitchen for ease at mealtimes! Very congenial host, easy to get hold of. Altogether a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

My team and I found the property to be as advertised. The house was very spacious and was clean upon arrival. We would recommend this rental property to other visitors and look forward to staying again.

House had lots of room for our family. We enjoyed the kayaks and lake toys. Also, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans for our cooking and grilling.

I really can't imagine a more perfect spot to spend a week on the water than this home! I felt it was an incredible value for the money! We were a family group of 3 generations and each of us thought the same thing - What a great place! Robert was helpful and communication to work with too! Inside: The house itself was VERY spacious (more than the photos even show) and open for a large family gathering, with nice views out to the lake. The kitchen was lovely and well supplied, and bedrooms spacious and comfortable. The grandchildren enjoyed sharing the bunk-room downstairs. The board games and movies on hand were a nice addition. Outside: The water situation and location on the lake was perfect! The younger children loved the shallow area at the waters edge and we all enjoyed swimming in the deeper waters (6ft) at the end of the dock. Plenty of room to tie up a pontoon boat to one side of the dock and still enjoy lounging and swimming off the other side. The water is so clear and warm! Finally the kayaks, both adult and kid size, were used by us all and such a nice addition to have at the property. In all, our week at Robert's place on Lake Anna exceeded all my expectations! You will not be diappointed if you book a stay! * Tip: If you need a boat rental you might consider Mobile Watercraft Rentals, LLC. I had difficulty finding an available pontoon boat for our stay, but Anthony was able to provide what we needed to get out on the lake for tubing and exploring at a good rate.

The house is beautiful and well maintained. The owner/property manager is always quick to respond to inquiries. The location is perfect for us ( we have young children) as it is at the end of a cove, so no/less wakes from boats. It is pretty shallow for a ways out, so the younger ones could play easily.

This house and location exceeded all of our expectations. The house had everything you would want from a fully stocked kitchen, indoor and outdoor games, kayaks ect. Fantastic yard with a very short walk to an awesome dock in a very quite cove where there were never boats or waves to worry about for the young kids. Robert, the owner, was very responsive and helpful with any questions or requests. Loved it stay there!

Robert’s property had everything we needed for our group of ten and was surprisingly nicer than the pictures led on. We would definitely come back again!

Great place to stay on Lake Anna. Plenty of room for two families of 4, well stocked for all your needs inside and outside. Robert was great to work with…provided very detailed rental information for an easy checkin/checkout and a smooth stay. Hope to stay here again!
