Location convenient but NOT on 7 Mile Beach. You must walk 15 minutes on main road to get to the beach. Public transport was easy and drivers friendly/helpful. The pool with swim up bar/food was nice. Renovations thru complex were noisy and annoying. Jackhammer going directly overhead was horrible.

We enjoyed our time at the Sunset Cove and our condo was pretty and well appointed. The view was absolutely beautiful and the protected cove was amazing. The location was perfect on Seven Mile Beach, so easy to get anywhere. Joe was very responsive to any of our questions or needs. The only thing I would have liked it to have extra blankets in the condo.

From the view, beautiful beach, warm protected swimming cove, pools, hot tub, swim up bar, to the clean rooms, well appointed kitchen, it was all perfect. Great communication! Can't wait to go back

What a great condo that we stayed in. Totally Beach/ocean front and beautifully updated throughout. Joe was very responsive to questions and help since my husband has difficulty with walking. You can drive your vehicle all the way down to help with unloading groceries or even loading/unloading passengers and luggage. I picked this location because we were bringing grandkids with us. The cove allowed for them to swim freely without the worry of waves, and look for sea life. There is a cut out in the wall that allowed for the adult adventurers to go snorkeling. The swim up bar was a great feature. All the food is delicious as well as the frozen cocktails.
The unit has what you need, washer/dryer, starter TP/paper towels, garbage bags, hand soap, towels, beach towels, large umbrella, pots/pans (we didn’t cook). Coffee maker. Refrigerator has filtered water and ice maker.
Nearby is a liquor store, XQ’s Pizza (delicious and really nice bar), Piccolino’s for great breakfast and coffee. If you have no trouble with walking there is lots of restaurants close by.
We were in the condo when Hurricane Beryl hit. I have to say that Joe was in constant contact. His onsite manager, Ellen, was wonderful. Readily available with questions and follow up. We were the only family in the building but felt extremely safe. Found out that the building and windows were hurricane proof.
Best view and patio that you can relax on. Double hammock is very comfy.

The condo was beautiful and very clean. The view was amazing. Location was ideal. You can walk to restaurants and stores. The pool and beach were great. I loved the rocked in beach. Snorkeling was perfect, as there was a reef outside that rocked wall. Looking forward to coming back!

This location and condo was perfect for our family! It had all the amenities we needed for 5 people. The 3 bedrooms fit us perfectly!!
The location was surrounded by ever place we wanted to visit. We did have our own rental car and explored the entire island!
We loved the cove located right outside the complex. And the pool and swim up bar was just right for pool time!
We will definitely be back!!

An incredible view on a unique part of seven mile beach. When we met one of the next door neighbors, they asked “how did you know to know to come here?” We said we were very lucky to find it. The host was incredibly helpful with all our requests. If you are looking for a low key and beach bound holiday, this is a wonderful pick.

We stayed the week of April 6, 2024 with our family of five. The property was exactly as advertised and we loved it. Having a very clean place to stay is extremely important to us, and the condo was very clean and well taken care of. The location is great! We really enjoyed the pool and swim-up bar at the property, and the sea wall at the beach made for really ideal swimming for our kids. It’s close to lots of restaurants and shopping and it was easy to hop in the car and drive to Rum Point and the East side of the island. I would highly recommend this condo if you’re looking for a a family vacation in Grand Cayman.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Sunset Cove. The place was very clean and location was great. The pool is huge and clean and was never overly busy. The on site restaurant, Lazy Lizard, was delicious. We loved viewing the sunsets from the balcony and the beach. There was a table, lounge chair and hammock on the balcony. There were included beach towels, sand toys, pool noodles and snorkel gear. The kitchen had everything we needed. Washer and dryer worked well. Air conditioner didn't work very well. Maybe it's an older AC unit. This wasn't really an issue for me but thought I would mention as it may be important for others. The 2 sink vanity in the master is nice but the toilet/shower room is super tiny. There is a constant vent noise coming from the bathroom which you can hear from the master bedroom quite loudly. Again, didn't bother me but may be important to some. We really had a wonderful time and the space was perfect for my family of 4. I would definitely recommend staying at Sunset Cove when visiting the island!

As a frequent visitor, Grand Cayman, I was pleasantly surprised by this incredible three bedroom condo right on the beach. Everything is up-to-date and top-notch… From the kitchen to the bedding to the furniture to the AC. Everyone was understandably impressed by the location, the patio, to sit on in the mornings, and in the evenings, the pools, the beach, the lagoon and the hospitality. I’d love to stay there again.

We were very happy with our condo choice at Sunset Cove! Very nice condo with everything we needed for a great girls trip. It was a quiet and peaceful in this area.
There were plenty of lounge chairs at the beach and pool area. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and nice. Joe the host was very responsive to answer all of our questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect protected ocean swimming area for young kids, especially when the waves pick up. Pleasant accommodations with a nice pool and great bar with decent food. Medical center and grocery store located close by. Great stay for a week.

Joe was super responsive and helpful with things to do in the area. The property was wonderful, clean, safe and many things in walking distance. We loved snorkeling the cove and if you go around the cove you will see even more fish. There was lots of swim toys, floaties, and swim towels We would rent this property again.

Fantastic! Great location, clean, and had everything we needed. Huge balcony overlooking the ocean with a full table, lounge chairs, and hammock. So relaxing! The property owner was very attentive. Anytime I messaged him with a general question he responded quickly. The week before we arrived I messaged him and he took the time and called me with many helpful suggestions. We did book the private charter with Alan with Double Trouble boat charters as was recommended by the condo owner which was so worth the extra expense going private as he made sure we got to see all that we wanted to and was great with our kids ages 11 & 13.

Property was just what was shown on VRBO. We were doing the cayman cookout so it was only 1 mile away. Great location for restaurants as well. The only issue we had was it wasn’t the easiest to find but once we did everything went great. Will use this place agwin

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Sunset Cove and both times at properties owned by Joe Romare. He is very easy to contact and very responsive to questions while also offering some nice connections for things to do during our stay. The condos are spotless and comfortable with all the amenities needed to prepare meals. The location on 7 Mile Beach is perfect - close to wonderful shopping and dining while feeling peaceful and secluded with gorgeous oceanfront views. I can’t recommend this property enough and we will be back again and again.

Dirty. Cheap furnishings. No curtains in one bedroom. No dresser in the other. Advertised on 7 mile beach. Technically correct but not connected to the portion of 7 mile beach where you can walk 7 miles. Maybe 100 yards each way from the condo is all you can walk. Also access to condo is horrible. You have to walk thru the abandoned ruins of the Margaritaville ruins.

We have stayed at this property many times over past 20 years. The location made it convenient for all of who traveled to venture in different directions whenever we felt like it. Joe's unit that we stayed in this time was remodeled and updated nicely. We did miss having a closet in the master bedroom, but we made it work just fine.

Beautiful condo had everything we needed and more. The cove gave us the best beach on the island. The huge pool with hot tub and pool side bar/restaurant gave it a fun resort style vibe. Joe answered all of my questions within minutes. Can’t wait to visit again!

Joe’s home was absolutely amazing and breathtaking! The family and I have been to the Cayman Islands quite a few times but Joe’s listing is a hidden gem! We will definitely be back again as the sunsets were spectacular, the amenities were amazing, and Joe was readily available if needed!

Would have liked blackout curtains on windows, better toilet paper, supply of tissues and soap
& shampoo products.
Other than that I would highly recommend for business stay or personal stay.

The condo and property were exactly what we were looking for. Oceanfront condo with amazing sunsets.Condo was stocked with Paper Towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, dish towels, beach towels, bath towels, floats and snorkeling gear. Joe was very responsive to our questions and made plenty of recommendations. The only disappointment was that the second bedroom was a queen and not a King bed as advertised. We would definitely stay there again.

The location of the condo was great! We did have issues with cleanliness when we arrived but talked to the owner and he sent the cleaning crew again. We also had an issue with AC not working and again was fixed. It’s time taken away from vacation and headache of going back and forth and coordinating. Otherwise good overall stay

We had a fantastic stay. The place was great! Loved being so close to the beach and the pool/pool bar was fun, too. Plenty of room for my family of 6. My only problem is that the posting needs to be changed. Although Joe told me that bedroom #2 has a Queen, the posting still says 2 NEW KINGS and 2 NEW TWINS.

This was our first stay in Grand Caymen. The property was as pictured, and comfortable for our family of 4. The condo’s location was convenient to the airport, grocery store, and many shops/restaurants. The most outstanding feature of the property is its five-star view… from the balcony/Master Besroom/Living Room there’s a direct view of sunrise/sunset over the beach with palm trees framing the view. It’s a million dollar view.

clean perfect size near most attraction and restaurant is did not impact the stay, but it was part of a older hotel, so some of the grounds are not as manicured as you would expect

We will never stay at another property when we visit Grand Cayman. This condo was spacious, clean and directly on the beach, also central to everything you need on Seven Mile Beach!The beds were so comfy and the linens were soft and good quality. The deck is huge with a full sized dining table, hammock and lounge chair and also had a large container with nice snorkeling equipment and other beach toys. The beach and pool areas had plenty of chairs, umbrellas and shade from trees and a large bin full of floats and children's toys. The swim-up bar/grill was fabulous with great food and drinks...what a great perk for a condo! The pool is large, beautiful and well-maintained. The protected swimming area on the beach was perfect to float around, paddle board or kayak(all available on the beach for everyone's use)and the snorkeling was good outside the rock wall. I have raved about this place to everyone...we simply loved it! One day, we will be back!
