Shower was annoying. Lots of water ended up on the bathroom floor and not enough towels were provided to clean up!

Air conditioning was difficult to work, no instructions and one unit was unable to alter which made the room rather cold during the night.

Very nice to be upgraded to a room overlooking the piazza. Super-comfortable, high-thread-count sheets on the large bed. Very nice bathroom. Modern fittings but perfectly in keeping with the historical location and building.

Easy directions to reach the hotel would have been helpful. Although it was only a couple of hundred metres from the drivable streets, we kind of went round in circles a couple of times, and went to the tourist office to find out how to get here through the one-way and pedestrian-only alleys. In the end we just follwed the sat nav to the hotel's front door. Hope we didn't get a fine!
