Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft direkt hinter einer Düne und bei den oberen Zimmern auch mit Meerblick.
Der Wellnessbereich befindet sich in der 5 Etage mit einem superschönen Blick über den Strand und das Meer...
Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig, jedoch hätten wir uns ein wenig mehr Aufmerksamkeit des Personals im Restaurant gewünscht.
Die Badezimmer sind sehr klein, zu zweit machbar, aber mit mehr Personen grenzwertig.

Gute Lage, schönes Design in den Zimmern und ein toller Barbereich ganz oben im Gebäude was zum verweilen einlädt.
Leider war bei unserem gesamten Aufenthalt das Warmwasser/Heizung ausgefallen und es war sehr kalt. Der Spa Bereich konnte dementsprechend nicht optimal beheizt werden und aus den Duschen im Saunabereich und auf den Zimmern gab es nur Kaltwasser! Das hatten wir uns anders vorgestellt. Bei Abreise wollten wir nochmal sagen, dass wir durch die technischen Störungen unseren Aufenthalt nicht so nutzen konnten und sehr unglücklich darüber waren. Normalerweise sind wir es gewohnt bei Abreise kurz gefragt zu werden, ob alles ok war. Leider war dies nicht der Fall. (Am Vorabend hatten wir bereits mit dem Personal am Servicetisch gesprochen aber leider war wohl kein Techniker zur Behebung der Probleme zu bekommen. Darüberhinaus roch es in unserem Badezimmer sehr unangenehm aus den Abflüssen. Lange aufhalten wollten wir uns dort ebenfalls nicht. Eine nachträgliche Mitteilung/Beschwerde per Mail blieb bis heute unbeantwortet.

Wir buchen stets das gleiche Zimmer. Die Lage Aussicht ist unschlagbar. Mega toll in diesem Jahr---> das Frühstück steht bis 12h bereits. Wir sind zwar Frühaufsteher, aber das nimmt einem den Druck aus dem Vormittag. Toll toll toll ;-)).
Es gibt immer frisch gebackenen Kuchen und andere Leckereien... jammi

Perfekte Lage, sehr nettes Personal, wunderbares Esssn und toller Service!
Unser Zimmer war wahrscheinlich unter dem Pool, man hat leise die Pumpe (oder so etwas Ähnliches) gehört, das war nachts etwas störend.

Das Frühstück ist fantastisch und sehr schön, aber nord-deutsch auch mit Fisch. Man kann auch sehr typisch und Original einen Tee trinken, so wie es der Brauch bestimmt. Passt sehr gut zu Sylt. Sehr schön auch die Yoghurts und Früchte, aber auch "kontinental" Köstlichkeiten sind dabei. Außergewöhnlich die Lounge im oberen Stock mit Sauna und Blick auf die Nordsee. Ich kenne nur noch an der Nordsee die Strandsauna auf Norderney die einen ähnlichen Blick gewährt.

Whenever I come back to Sylt for the Petro Surf Festival I like to stay at the Wyn. Strandhotel Sylt. There are better and more luxurious hotels on the island but this one tick all the boxes also when you are traveling with a slightly smaller budget. It's a great compromise, on the seafront bang in the center of Westerland.
The only thing is - if your room is facing the parking lot and not the sea it is not a great view... so make sure to book anything facing west.

Unfortunately had no time to use the spa, but it looked really cool - Weill definitely give it a try next time :-)

The room was good as expected but the price for the sea view was a bit too expensive. Overall the service was excellent. Property was very well maintained. Very close to the beach and the common floor was beautiful to watch from.
The food could have more vegetarian options. The Spa could not take reservations 1 day before. But most people might decide to take the spa spontaneously and hope the hotel change their policy on it.

Food was high quality and the staff incredibly friendly. Attention to detail everywhere. Spa area was relaxing - lived the bar area too. The sauna with a view was fabulous!

Good location, nice breakfast, room in good condition.
Definitely not a 5 star hotel. If it was rated 4 stars and priced 50% less, this hotel would receive a good rating. However (and this is based on our extensive 5-star hotel experiences from traveling all across the world), over 500 EUR/night for 19 m2 room with no view is absolutely exaggerated. The staff (with few exceptions, especially in the restaurant) is also disorganised and not too engaging (even rude sometimes). The included dinner is not up to the expected level and the food (from the self service buffets) often runs out.
Given the location, if this was a 4* hotel for 200-300 EUR/night, it would be a fair deal. Unfortunately it isn't.

The food was great and the staff was very friendly and accommodating
The room was very small, the bathroom smelled bad. The bed sheets had holes, there was no rooms available with a view. The photos on booking.com looked a lot better than the actual place/facilities. The price was too high for what we got and compared to other better accommodations on the island.

Should be 4-5 times bigger... but my guess is that during the “high season” all hotels in Sylt are a bit spoiled by the demand...
