Great experience! Easy walk to the beach was a big plus. Everyone loved the house. It was very clean and comfortable.

Overall this was one of the best properties we have rented at fripp. We took two small families and it was set up perfectly. Two washer dryer areas (which wasn't in the listing but was a nice surprise) were great so each family could do laundry whenever they wanted. Location is awesome, truly a short walk to the beach. My only concern is the mattress on the queen bed upstairs (upstairs master) was pretty bad. It was super firm, but not supportive firm, more like you could almost feel the spring coils pressing on you. I slept on the sofa one night near the end of the week. The outside porches were fantastic, and the furniture inside and out was also wonderful. My other area for improvement is not with the home but the golf cart rental company. I would highly recommend to NOT rent with them. I have rented many a golf cart at fripp and this was the worst we have had. We rented a 6 and a 4 seater. The headlights were so bad, I could barely see at night when we were moving. They had LED lights but the were very low output. Also the carts showed up dirty, and I don't mean sand, I'm talking beer bottle caps and a used Q-tip in the cup holder! I emailed the contact at Sutcliffe and they never responded. They were quick to respond prior to our arrival on payment and setting up our reservation. So do yourself a favor and choose any other golf cart place on the island and do not rent from Sutcliffe, we certainly won't next time. But if you are considering this house, it's definitely a great one! Kitchen was great, the dock was fun, pool table was great and lots of room and comfort for everyone. Thanks again, we will be returning. Hope you change that mattress before next year!

Our family visited this home in July for a week. This home was perfect for 3 families with multiple bedrooms and options for restrooms. The open living space allowed for many nights of fellowship while cooking in the kitchen and interacting with the entire family. We would vacation in this home again.

The house and location were great for the family reunion party we held on July 4th. Perfect location to watch fireworks and easy access to the beach. The house was large enough to accommodate a crowd without feeling like we were on top of each other.

A great home just steps away from the beach, and lots of deer in the back yard for the kids to feed. A very large deck with plenty of privacy and beautiful views. We had one small problem with the second floor HVAC unit, but management was onsite within an hour and had it fixed 30 minutes later. By far, the best service I've experienced on Fripp. WIFI was far from perfect and needs to be updated, but we didn't use it much so wasn't a big deal for us. We had a great time and would strongly recommend the house.

We visited Bahia Mar in August 2016, celebrating milestones and having a much-needed family reunion. This location was more than I expected and the perfect vacation spot for everyone. We had never been to Fripp Island before but loved the warm family atmosphere and the natural surroundings. The house was the perfect size to give us all the ability to have our own space, but at the same time allowed us to share and make memories together. We will be back!!

The house was in an awesome location, being on the canal, with great views, and then of course the ocean was just across the street. We loved the outside shaded porches and furniture to sit and relax and enjoy the views from. The property was clean, it was great having two refrigerators in the kitchen, plenty of space for food in kitchen as well. The air conditioning was not as good as it should be, but they came and worked on it, but it still did not keep the temperature down, but it was an unusually hot week for June. May still want to have it checked out further. The upstairs dryer worked, but it did not cut off on timed dry, which could be hazardous if relied on to cut unit off.

Overall this is a great house, with a great floor plan and location that needs a few easily made improvements to make it perfect for an extended stay! Centrally located, this house sits on a canal front lot with beach access across the street making an ideal location to enjoy every amenity and activity available on the island. Floorplan is spacious and open, allowing for together time for a large group as well as the pursuit of individual interests. The house well appointed. Inconvenient was the Wifi connection that can only be made from one section of the lower level in close proximity to the router. Also, we found the house to be less than clean when we arrived. The floors quickly turned everyone's socks and feet black! Please get after your cleaning crew. Last suggestion would be to include in the rental price the use of Amenity cards and even at least one golf cart. My experience renting on Fripp for 16 years is most other rentals in this price range do. Thanks!!
