My family and I took my mom for 60th birthday. After reading previous reviews on the place not having many items in the kitchen, I made sure to pack some pans, plastic utensils, plates, and even seating for the kitchen, we also brought our bathroom items, but upon check in and throughout the stay, I was being pleasantly surprised to find a fully stocked kitchen, extra beddings, bathroom items, more then we could use. We slept comfortably with 6 adults and 2 teens. The views were brea butthtaking with the cape and sand dunes. My mom had a wonderful birthday. Thank you for having us at your wonderful home.

And that's where it stops. The furniture is old, the entries are confusing, the kitchen utensils suck, I could go on. One of the main concerns for those booking this place should be that one of the rooms does not have a heating vent. Its the "Managers" suite or so the door said. The upstairs room is nice just older furniture again. We did have a great view of the ocean and lots of deer coming around each day.

The pictures online of this property are old ones as there is much deterioration that has occurred. The only thing that is true is the view and it is spectacular. However that only goes so far. The grounds are in total disrepair and this property brings down the home values of the entire neighborhood. The sliding glass door to get onto the deck is broken and takes a strong man to actually pick up the door to make it slide enough for a slim person to get out. No deck chairs are available. The grill is old and rusty but does still work. The kitchen is supplied very poorly with garage sale items. No large serving bowls, knives are totally dull, no steak knives, old mismatched pots and pans; the toaster works on one side only, the can opener doesn't work at all. Supplies consist of one roll of paper towels, a few small bottles of dishwash liquid, one towel, one sponge, no dishwasher powder. The furniture throughout the upstairs and downstairs could be called adequate but not comfortable. The two hide-a-beds which we had to use for our grandchildren were pathetic but we had no choice. The mattresses were worn thin and were so dirty and stained. There weren't enough sheets provided for both beds and when I called the only number I could find for assistance, I was told I would need to go buy my own sheets and then take them home with me! The upstairs wiring seemed to be faulty as the lights flickered all the time.

The view is amazing. Some things could use some improvement but overall it is a great house.

Thank you for letting us use your house. We loved the upstairs view the most, and looking out on the balcony and seeing the deers on the lawn and walking up the street. We are from Hawaii, and that was truly a gift. We also love the view of the Pacific ocean. It's too bad our vacation was only 2 nights. We were hoping we would see the deers again and the spectacular view of the beach and the ocean, but we had to leave at 6 am for our flight back to Honolulu. Once again thank you so much!

I rented this house for a get together with old friends, plus the husband of one, who had never been to the Oregon coast before. The view from this house was a perfect introduction. Because the house is round, you can see a nice long stretch of ocean, surf, Cape Kiwanda, and the haystack rock. The house is older, but it's cozy and perfectly laid out for visiting. There were deer in the side yard two of the three mornings we were there. Bonus! All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I will be renting this one again!
