Comfortable and clean

My kids and I had a good trip to twillingate - a bit of a family emergency cut our stay short but the house was located in a nice spot.

Clean, everything we needed, quiet, good communication with owner.

The house was a home-away-from-home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the centrality of its location, and our time in Twillingate. The three of us had a wonderful time!

We loved the view. It was great to have a deck and chairs to enjoy the variety of weather effecting the view. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. A well equipped kitchen, but a lobster cracker would be helpful in lobster season. We appreciated the laundry facilities. A great time in Twillingate.

We stayed 2 nights and the home was central for us. The hikes at crows head and spillers cove were a short drive away. We did a tasting at Auk Winery and enjoyed a bbq at our rental.

Great location! The property was very clean and the BONUS - the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with the basics which was really nice! Host was very kind and helpful. Only thing I would mention was we're not sure "overlooking the ocean" is a fair description, as we interpreted that to mean an unobstructed full ocean view; there is a water view (seems to be a large Bay); however, to be clear, this was not an issue what so ever! Turns out we experienced the worst fog they have had in a long time - so we were told along with the lovely Newfoundland drizzle and rain. NOTE - stores and restaurants etc close early in the town so be sure to not leave picking up food, wine etc.. on your way out to start your day. Another lovely bonus was finding Annies Harbour Restaurant - we had both dinner and breakfast - excellent food and on the water right on the main street. Try it out. Had a WONDERFUL stay and I would highly recommend the property.

The property was perfect for us. All the essentials were provided for. Using the door code was a bit confusing at first, but we are old. The first day we took a tour boat looking for icebergs and whales. We didn't find anything but had a good time anyway. We checked out a couple of museums, and the local winery. Went to the Grand Old Shed Show, We took a drive up to the light house, but didn't do on hiking. On our last night we had dinner at a sea side restaurant, and spent the rest of the evening in the adjacent pub. The live entertainment was excellent. Great music and story telling. Friendly people , great food , great entertainment. The only downside was the cool rainy weather and we didn't find whales or icebergs. We plan to come back.

The property met all our expectations. Host was available through online exchanges. We had a great time even if we did not see any icebergs.

Everything is as per described. Close to Twilingate (3mins drive), amazing hikes close to the house and you can easily walk to the sea. The place is clean and comfortable to enjoy after a good hiking day. We recommend this place.

Was great all around.

Only issue we had was toilet backed up and we could not find a plunger. Once able to connect with owner, plunger located and issue fixed. Everything we needed was available.

Truly have to experience Newfoundland

Cozy with everything you might need.I would recommend this charming property. My grandsons from the UK enjoyed the experience even with the rainy weather.

This beautiful little house is very quaint, clean and everything to accommodate your vacation. My sister’s and I were more than pleased with this gem , and close to all the amenities in Durrell and Twillingate. Five star for sure 🤩❤️

Very comfortable and cozy home. Location was a short drive to centre of town. Had everything that our family needed. Neighbourhood was quiet with friendly neighbours. A great place to stay when visiting Twillingate.

We stayed 2 days at Linda's place and it was everything we had hoped for. It was located in a quiet area, close to some of Twillingate's many walking trails. The kitchen is very well equiped, bed was comfortable and there was laundry available! Linda reached out to us to make sure we had arrived safely and that everything was going well. Twillingate is a must see. The people are just great and so welcoming - as it seems all Newfoundlanders are!

Loved the ease of access to Twillingate from our rental. It was cosy and comfortable and we had no trouble making ourselves at home here. We loved our stay in Twillingate.

We had a wonderful visit there because of the activities we had booked ourselves before we arrived. It would have been nice to have some info about other activities/ restaurants in the village.

Cute, homey cottage with a comfortable, lived-in feel. Walked just to the end of the road for a great view of icebergs and the short Sandy Cove hiking trail. Linda responded quickly to emails, which we greatly appreciated. We were just at the right time for viewing three big icebergs in the harbour, which was breathtaking.

The property was clean, well kept and had all the amenities we need to have a short but enjoyable stay. Thanks.

We had a great stay at Linda’s property. It was very clean and welcoming. We were blown away by the amenities provided. It was like being at home. We visited the New World island Dinner threaten our first night in town and then did an iceberg tour. Linda’s property was in a great location and easy to find.
