The man at who checked me in, out and looked after the breakfast was very friendly and nice, on my last day he even brought me coffee without me asking at breakfast! He made me feel very welcome. The bed was comfortable, wifi worked well and I liked the addition of simple things which makes guests more comfortable: sink in the room, slippers, toiletries, extension cord with more plugs, bottle of water. The location is also excellent, five minutes walk from train station and cathedral.

The lock of the door to the shared bathroom kept getting jammed and I almost got locked in a couple of times so I always took my phone with me to the bathroom just in case!

Cozy room with a nice view. Everything i needed was in there including TV. Location is perfect - 3 minutes waking by to the railway station, 5 to the chapel and and 10 to the painting gallerey.

The hall is extremely noise; WC - taking a shower is hard. You’ll have hot and cold water; WC is very small.

Hotel Berg is in a great location only a few mins from Cologne Station, It is a basic cheap hotel, so good for the price but not as good as many German hotels as its a bit old

Perfect location, friendly stuff, good Breakfast, good and comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi, The rooms were cleaned every day.

The toilet is small, but it is what it is. My husband is big but he used it perfectly.

Very central location is the mean advantage of this small hotel. I had a very convenient, very clean room, with a small private bathroom, the staff were all very friendly and the included breakfast was very good and fresh. The price of daily parking in the private garage was very reasonable at 10 euro.

The garage is very tiny, it was perfect for my car but any bigger size cars may have problems using the garage.

We stayed for a couple of nights. Very cozy little hotel. With good staff. Very good breakfast, delicious coffee, scrambled eggs and bacon. The rooms are old but the bathroom is new. wifi was good.

The room was cold despite the warm radiator. the furniture in the room is inconveniently located, we had to make a small rearrangement for the duration of the stay.

The location is very close to the train station although down a bit of a back street which didn’t feel very safe at times

It was a bit dated and doesn’t have any lift for access to the top floors. The room was basic and I felt the price I paid was a bit expensive for what I got
