My family and I had a great experience staying here. The house is in a perfect location, just across the street from the beach. When we weren’t at the beach, we were lounging in the most perfect pool. Our host, Steve, checks the pools PH level and cleans it at least once a week. I noticed that the water was at a perfect level, not burning mine or my grandsons eyes. The residence is equipped with a fully enclosed outdoor shower, a cozy backyard with a barbecue grill. When we needed to have the tank of the grill replaced, Steve was just a call away, and was at the place in minutes replacing the tank. The house is very clean, and my family (including my husband, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson) were all very comfortable in our bedrooms. The hosts Steve and Theresa are very hospitable and gracious, providing us with three beach passes for our stay. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in Point Pleasant Beach.

We had a lovely time! Very convenient location. Our teenagers could go off on their own to the boardwalk. And we enjoyed walking to the restaurants. Beach is across the street and the pool was a fun alternative! We would definitely consider coming back.

We stayed at this property for a week in Aug of 2022.— high season, premium price and in general wished we had booked somewhere else. We have booked houses in PP for many years so this wasn’t our first rodeo. We were a family of 6 with 2 teens, a 9 year old and 12 year old. SO first what’s good about this house. It’s across Ocean avenue from the beach— 1 block walk to the boardwalk, so that’s a great location. It has a pool which is very hard to find in PP this close to the beach (tho I believe the pool is unheated). The appliances in the kitchen are up to date and everything in the house is in working order. So why was this not a good choice for my family? First of all, its a 3 Bdrm house but its very small. Each of of the bedrooms is only slightly larger than the beds that go in them. Not the end of the world but dont expect a lot of space. NExt, the house has AC however its not central AC, there is one window unit for the entire house. That one window unit IS capable of cooling the house, but with 2 caveats. First, its fairly loud and in the middle of the house and second, if you want to sleep in the bedrooms and have it be a comfortable temperature when its hot out, you have to leave the doors open, which limits privacy and also means that if others are awake in the house (very small house) it can be disturbing. And lastly, and this was honestly the biggest issues we had with the house, the beds are terrible— very cheap and very very loud. By loud I mean that for example anytime you turn over the creaking of the springs is so loud it may well wake the person next to you. They are also quite uncomfortable just because they are such low quality mattresses. We purchased “egg create” bed toppers at the local Target to try to improve things but it didnt help a lot. Also to that same point, the house is advertised as sleeping 6, and its also clear in the listing that that’s accomplished with 2 full beds and 2 twins, so just be sure you are thinking, if you do have.6 people, that’s 2 people in each of 2 full beds. pretty tight, esp when they are such low qual. We’ve had other properties that supplied linens, towels, chairs,. Pillows or at least blankets. Nothing is provided other than Finally, they expect you to FULLY clean the house on return. scrub the bathroom, etc all ready for the next tenant. We left the house in excellent shape and the STILL charged us $200 against our security deposit. Weird and suspicious.

The owners were very nice and responsive. Kids loved the pool and being in walking distance to the boardwalk and beach. Plenty of room for family of 4. Had everything we needed for a week getaway to the shore.

Nice location for a stay in Pt. Pleasant. Close enough to walk to the beach, boardwalk and multiple restaurants, but far enough away from the clubs to not be bothered by any noise. Comfortable for my wife and I but also for our two college aged kids on the night they both stayed. Wi-Fi worked great which enabled me to spend the time we stayed there working through the afternoon while still being able to enjoy the beach later in the day. We'd definitely rent the house again in the future.

We spent a spectacular week at this house - close to the beach/boardwalk, amazing pool and fully equipped home. We plan to visit again soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
