I booked two rooms many weeks ago. I was given two rooms at the very back of the hotel there was absolutely no view from the windows the window was broken an unable to close the hair dryer only worked when red hot or not at all there were no batteries in the remote tv control the bed mattresses clearly were very old and uncomfortable I was told they were fully booked and unable to give me an alternative. This is not what I expect from a hotel that you recommend and will certainly think twice before booking with you again

It is a Holiday Inn! Predicable, needs updating, but a good place for a one night stay. Good location Good price Ok breakfast

Very good clean and presentable. Reception staff nice and welcoming and friendly. Professional

The bad point - the barman was rude and not at all professional. No welcome and no conversation. Just stood there with no hello and stating “what do you want” didn’t look happy in his job and gave a bad impression

Nice pobby and good size room

Rusty bath, dirty mirrors and hair in bath. Wasn't particularly clean. Breakfast was expensive and not good quality. Dry as had been left out too long. Broken kettle that I reported which I would have thought were regularly checked. Only stayed for a night so it was ok for a bed after a night out but wouldn't stay for longer than that

The waiter in restaurant ( as far as I remember David) was quite annoying, extremely talkative and disruptive.

Had a party on which we must have been directly above. Music was blasting till very late. 🤨

The big family room we booked is next to kitchen fan, too loud to sleep, had to changed into smaller room🙄.

Mattress lumpy. One bedside light not working and both reading lights not working. Plus temperamental door lock.

Room was very noisy , extractor fan from the kitchen close to the room kept us awake . Blakes bar - food very poor for the price . One of curtains in Room hanging ( broken ) . Place in need of refurbishment

bed slopped inwards, no sound proofing so could hear radio from next room- all speech. it was expensive for this level of room. chair in room cracked leather.
