The staff were very welcoming. The size of the room. Secure parking. Location in the middle of town. The price of the room. The kettle in the room and milk provided by the staff.

The cost of the breakfast and the evening meal solved by going next door to the local cafe for breakfast and to one of the many restaurants for dinner. The staff couldn't provide "normal" tea bags - English breakfast tea would have been fine. Luckily the local supermarket sells them!

As always: nice little hotel in a good setting.

The restaurant/brasserie is nice, the staff great, but, sadly, the food is pretty bad.

Really expensive, poor breakfast, not very fresh bread, with the nerve to charge extra for anything other than a boiled egg. Don't expect self service button coffee machine for €12 each. Spoilt a good visit.

We had a very nice, big and quiete room. Location of the hotel is top! The staff were very friendly.

We travelled from Northumberland at short notice for a dear friends funeral. We communicated easily with the hotel management to request booking in earlier to change into the appropriate clothing, The management were 100% accommodating.

The location and the old-fashioned charm of the hotel. Easy access to secure parking was a bonus. Good dinner(with excellent service) and generous breakfast choice.

In our 36 hour stay the room key card failed, so we had to get it re-programmed four times.

Very friendly and caring staff who wanted us to feel comfortable. Great location, quick walk to anywhere, seaside, shops, restaurants very good. Excellent location. Food delicious, high quality Restaurant. Desk 24 hrs so good for a late coffee or tea. rooms all had kettles and cups, nice touch.

Our rooms were most small and expensive for the size of them. This hotel has no lounge, so there is nowhere to sit down other than in a Bar or Restaurant. Not so comfortable. We also did not like the tank of Lobsters and Crabs, that really made the lobby area smell right next to the Reception Desk.

The room was nice, helpful receptionist.

We have been staying at this hotel for over 20 years and until the previous owners retired it was one of our favourite hotels. Sadly it has become very expensive, particularly the food. Bed was very hard. Kept awake by the noise from the bar opposite which went on until after 2am. Ask for a room at the back!

Food was awful very pretentious. More interest in design of plates than quality of food

The location was great and took advantage of the 12 euro a night parking but there was street parking nearby. The room was comfortable and fine for an overnight stay (or two nights but for perhaps too small for a longer stay). I liked the decor of the bar and the friendliness of the staff.

I thought the breakfast was an afterthought and if I stayed again I would not take the breakfast and just order something in a nearby café.

Very friendly staff, excellent location (in center of the town but nevertheless not too far from the beach), very good private parking facilities. Excellent central location for trips to a.o. Boulogne s/Mer or nearby beautifull beaches.

Could be more choice on the breakfast table.

The plus point is generous secure parking. I’m afraid that’s the best of it. But Wimereux is a genteel seaside town and the only real risk is not finding a parking spot on the street.

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the years. It’s getting a bit tatty (the refurbishment plan started with the change of ownership a couple of years ago seems to have stalled). The restaurant is expensive for the area and its menu is much more limited than it was (I have fond memories of watching steak tartare being prepared, with much show, in the middle of the restaurant. No longer.). The food itself is okay. I fear they’ve succumbed to a degree of complacency, perhaps because a lot of British people stay. It’s exemplified by the way the male receptionists insist on speaking something-like-English (despite our fluent French: we gave up and settled for having no idea what he was trying to say).

Restaurant menu limited. Would have been nice to have shower over the bath rather than hand held.

Good central location close to Calais. Easy to get to. Excellent secure parking. Size of the room was good. Very comfortable bed and a bath in the bathroom. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was good but a bit expensive.

The evening meal menu was too expensive with no fixed price menu. Sound insulation wasn't great.
