Breakfast was more than exceptional! Best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Better than a 5 star hotel as Marrianne makes wonderful homemade cakes, tarts, jams, as well as a choice of hot and cold food, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, croissants and baguette, juices, tea and coffee. Kept us going all day! The room was comfortable and even had a kitchenette, balcony with a view and spare beds. It was exceptionally clean and a daily room clean. The shower was hot and powerful. We will definitely come back again, believe the wonderful reviews!
Nothing to complain about whatsoever. Even though it’s not the centre of chatel, the hotel is in a picturesque and quiet location overlooking a river. Bus leaves from outside the hotel and it’s perfect if you have a car with easy parking at the hotel and a 5 minute quiet road to Linga and Pre la Joux ski areas that also have ample free parking. The hotel across the road has a lovely restaurant so you can also have dinner locally if you need.

Went on last mn economic friendly trip with a friend and it was really ideal.
Location is great & easy to park your car.
Take into account you cannot cook big dish as the kitchenette is basic.

owner (marilaine I think?) was wonderful! she stayed up late for our arrival and allowed us to check out late when our flight was cancelled. very clean and comfortable. warm rooms with lovely clean new bathrooms. lovely beds and great location very close to the free shuttle stop. simply a fabulous little hotel! thank you!

decor was OK but rather old fashion, floor of the room not in wood, there was no coffee and only little choice of teas

Superb breakfast. Charming, helpful, hostess. Immaculately clean. Comfortable beds with lovely cotton sheets.
It is quite a long way up into the town without a car. Fortunately we enjoy walking and the weather was good but the uphill trek could be a drawback in the rain! There was no real bus service in the evening.
