The shower does not work, besides the bed being very very hard. I have a video on the shower, it is just ridiculous… and the hotel denied to reimburse too. Very unpleasant service.

Location in the center of abraão (just a little hidden from the sea). Very nice breakfast and nice staff that prepared something gluten free (tapioca) for me. They helped to arrange the transfer to the island (even though awful company for the transfer)

Room a bit small. Air conditioning requires some cleaning, it looked like having mold inside

It was close to everything, and place it's really beautiful and the breakfast it's good.

The breakfast was absolutely great! The position and the room so cozy. everything was clean and the stuff was kind and helpful! Appreciated the afternoon coffee and tea :)

The staff - Priscilla and Juliana were both very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Being able to take a shower after checkout so we could make the most of the beach on our last day. Location is also super convenient. Lovely vibe, would definitely recommend.

The room was slightly small, the triple room was OK for 2 people but would have been a squeeze with 3. A reading light by the bed would also have been nice.

Fantastic location - 1 minute walk from the pier. Staff were very friendly and a lovely breakfast was provided. Highly recommend. Also a great restaurant just opposite accommodation.

Priscila was very friendly and helped us book on some boat trips around the island, which we really enjoyed - and the price of the tours is the same as anywhere else you buy them. She also helped arrange our transfer to Rio. Hotel very easily accessible and right in the centre, but tucked away so still quiet at night.

Breakfast very poor - small selection and it was sitting out in the heat with flies around it, so not appetising. Our room was very hot as the aircon/fan didn't do much, and also small. The window wasn't fully sealed and the cleaners would leave the balcony door open which let mosquitos in.

Amazing hosts, breakfast, tranquil location, super comfy beds, everything was organized for us (massage, trips, etc), would definitely recommend staying there especially if you value a comfortable place and don’t want to worry about anything.

Location was excellent, Priscilla was really very helpful and suggested lots of bays to visit together with the best restaurants. She really went out of her way to be extra helpful

My only suggestion would be if possible to have white cotton sheets.

Our last day we didn't have energy in part of the island where the pousada is. The pousada is still installing solar energy which should solve this problem.

Its a really good pousada. Rooms are good and cozy. The building is really beautifull. Breakfast is good. And the staff is amazing. They also arrange tours for you and transfers to Rio. They are really helpfull. Actually the touragent made a mistske, but our hostess arranged something we still could go on the tour. I think its the best facillity on the island. You wanna be here.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. Upon arrival, the staff offered us with home-made fresh melon-mango juice, which was more than a welcome refreshment. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and the bed was really comfortable! The breakfast was amazing home-made food. Very central location, straight from the pier, although the street is relatively quiet. The staff helped us to book our transfer back to Rio and we were able to leave the luggage on our last day before our departure. All-in-all, we really enjoyed staying here!

It's a nice Pousada, well maintained and clean.

We had quite some power interruptions and many Pousadas have a generator but unfortunately not this one...

The location is great, very close to the boat embarque, restaurants and supermarkets, but still very quiet. We had a private room for two with a sweet little balcony. Everything was spotless, AC and ventilator worked perfectly. Shower has great water pressure. There was a TV but we didn't use it. There is also a safe. Breakfast was amazing, there are so many things to chose from and they are all tasty. The staff was very nice and helpful. They speak a little bit of English.

Leae was the sweetest little lady. She always prepared an amazing buffet breakfast. Prime location. Quiet and peaceful. Fridge. A/C. Balcony. Nice bathroom. Room cleaned daily.

No Netflix and non-English cable TV.

Location, staff, clean

Friendly hotel in the centre of Abraão on Ilha Grande. We received a warm greeting despite not speaking any Portuguese. The breakfast was excellent and the room was clean, complete with a small balcony and lovely view of the street. Only stayed for one night, but could have stayed longer if we had the time.

We stayed at the Pousada Casablanca for 10 days. Our room was spacious (we had a lot of luggage) and well maintained and we loved our sweet balcony facing the little paved street and the ocean in the background. It had something romantic about it. The location is 5 minutes walk to the main beach. Breakfast was rich in fruits and cereals and there is fresh butter and marmalade being served at your table. Plus the highlight: home made cake - I loved the chocolate one! Special thanks to Lea and Vania who treated us with so much care that it was hard to leave this place! It is a wonderful gateway! I definitely recommend and hope to come back soon!

The location was great. But that goes for any pousado in Abraão. it’s a small village.

The rooms are a lot smaller than on the pictures showcased - they are crammed with extra bunk beds hostel style. overall dirty state. Bathrooms are in a dire state. I’ve stayed in dorms in hostels that were a lot nicer than these.
