The ambience was warm and friendly, the staff very helpful, meals were well presented and no-one in our party had any complaints. Rooms were comfy, bathroom lovely and clean, toiletries welcomed.

Stairs - steep and uneven!

Lovely bed and a nicely laid out room.

Not the hotels fault but I had an elephant crashing about in the room above.

Great stay, got in early and had a room upgrade. Stayed only one night but service was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

We had a lovely stay at The Old Bell Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both were delicious and the vegan options were great.

Location good, nice room & staff very friendly

We weren’t aware the car park was not available due to outside marquees for Covid so we had to street park. Bar taking last orders at 9-30 seems a bit early for a hotel!;

This is a very comfortable hotel, with a friendly and lively ambiance. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the quality of the evening meal we had was also extremely good.

At the time of booking the hotel said they had a car park. The car park has now been converted to outdoor marquees etc and parking is now on street or in an adjoining public car park which is small and full when we arrived.

Room was clean and tidy, tea, biscuits and hot chocolate provided. Bathroom toiletries provided including shower cap and cotton pads / buds selection. Good mirror with lights

Rooms were very tired, old showers and labelled as superior for £150 BB we felt was poor value for money

It was a great overnight. A very nice place.

The room was a little small ... but we booked a small room ... so I guess that's what we got. We only needed it for sleeping, after all.
