Very nice. Roomier than we expected. Lots of places to eat and shop in walking distance. Also, the beach is 2 minutes away. We had a great week.

Rustic and comfortable property located just steps from the beach and downtown Dewey. Perfect for a small group looking to spend time on the beach or in Dewey and Rehoboth.

Just a short walk to the beach, this location was perfect (especially for our young kids). Quiet street but right behind the main drag with many restaurants and shops. Cottage stayed nice and cool at night. Many games, coloring books etc for the rainy days. Thank you again!

This place was steps from the beach! Sweet spot with an AC unit in each room that kept it nice and cool. Steps from the Best crab cake around and the popular Starboard which has the best breakfast. There was beach stuff for kids and boogie boards. I love the way the dogs come on the beach in the AM and PM after the lifeguards leave. We plan to return next year!

Nightmare

It was so cozy! Could walk right to the beach and all kinds of bars and restaurants. All the amenities were provided. Perfect location! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The cottage was super clean, comfortable, quiet, had cable and Wi-Fi , convenient walk to restaurants and bars but best of all, a 30 second walk to the beach. We loved it and hope to stay again.

Renting was easy, great location, would absolutely rent it again.

We absolutely loved this house, the location and this area! As of first time in Dewey, we weren’t sure what to expect. The home was clean, quaint and the perfect beach home. The beach is right at the end of the road - easy to walk back and forth throughout the day. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely! We walked everywhere for breakfast/coffee, dinner and drinks. Our group was just two adult, but the home could comfortably accommodate more. What an awesome area and stay!

Our family of five, children 16, 14, and 12, had an absolutely wonderful time! The house is exactly how it is described, the property manager responded quickly to all correspondence and resolved the one small issue we had immediately! We hope to definitely return next year. There are not a lot of bells and whistles but the location is perfect, kids went back and forth to the beach and we walked and biked to restaurants in Dewey and Rehoboth. My son said the pull out couch was the most comfortable one he had ever slept on 😊�!

This cottage is perfectly situated between the beach and the bustling downtown of Dewey Beach. It was very clean and well-equipped for cooking (just remember to bring paper towels, tp, and dish soap!). We really enjoyed out stay and would come again!

We had a great week staying in this cottage. It is so close to the beach that I walked up and had my coffee in the sand every morning. Also very close to all the bars and restaurants--especially the Starboard and Dewey Beer Company. Aside from grocery store runs, we parked our car and were able to walk to everything. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. With three kids, we used all the beds, including the futon in the living area. We used the outside hose to rinse off all the time. That being said, the one improvement that would make a world of difference would be an outdoor shower. All in all, we would highly recommend this cottage for a beach getaway

The location is ideal for making trips back and forth to the beach during the day, and going out to bars and restaurants at night. Although it's smaller, it fits a lot of amenities like well stocked cookware, small deck area outside, and Roku TV. Small upgrades like better mattresses, a larger waste bin, and a newer/bigger grill would make this a five star review for me. Overall though, it was a positive rental experience.

The property owner was very organized with the needed paperwork and information. The house was a great price, very close to the beach.

The cottage was actually more spacious than I expected based on other reviews. The owner provides four towel bars in the bathroom and extra hooks on bedroom doors to allow six people to dry bath and beach towels. There is also a clothesline outside. There were no damp odors in the cottage. The kitchen was well equipped. No trouble preparing meals. I don't particularly like gas stoves but it did the job. The tap water was good. First time I've rented and haven't had to purchase bottled drinking water. The location was great. Other sections of the beach were much more crowded but we saw less traffic along our beach access route. The walk to the beach was shorter than expected. We had no issues with parking but there were never more than 4 cars total in the private lot while we were there. It might be a little tight when fully occupied. I always had space to turn around so I never had to back out into the road. The only downside was the mattresses. The master bedroom has a 4" foam mattress on a wooden platform. It was in decent shape but that's not a lot of padding on a hard surface. The full size mattress in the second bedroom was decent but had a saggy spot in the middle. My daughter said she could feel the springs in the twin mattress on the top bunk but she didn't seem to have trouble sleeping. The futon mattress was pretty bad. Definitely could feel springs when sitting and the metal center pole in the frame was very uncomfortable for sleeping. Because there were 5 of us renting and we used the futon as a bed for one person, there was really nowhere to sit comfortably except at the dining table. We were prepared for that and spent most of our time outside anyway. The space is really optimal for four or less people. All in all we were very pleased with the space and would definitely rent it again. We really enjoyed our first experience with Delaware beaches!

I thought this was a cute cottage, and close to the beach, however I think this would be an adorable cottage that could use a little bit of updating and decorating to give it a little more of the beach vibe.....overall we loved walking right up to the beach every morning to see the sunrise and the dolphins

We had a great stay on Saulsbury Street in July. The weather was beautiful, the cottage was very comfortable for 4. A great value for a small group to enjoy the Delaware shore.

This place is absolutely wonderful, and perfectly located! You walk outside and on your right is the beach, while your left is Starboard! Aside from the location, the space is really great! Wood panels and light wells for the natural feel....an open floor plan for the feel of open spaces... It's just great!

This cottage is well kept and was exactly as described in the ad. A/C worked great as did everything else. Kitchen has everything you need, just like home! There is a charcoal grill if you feel like eating in and a place to wash the sand off outside. The new smart TV came in handy on a couple of rainy days as did some of the may puzzles, games and books that are there for use. I do have a suggestion that I have already conveyed to Keith, and even though it may sound negative I will happily rent this cottage again next year, the mattress' are a little tired. The big saving grace here is that we were so tired from going to the beach twice a day, eating and sightseeing, that it was not bad enough to ruin the stay, by far. Keith was a great host, prompt with correspondence and helpful information and his description of the property is spot on! 5 houses from the beach and 5 houses from RT 1!!! Thanks Keith.

Keith and Bonnie's cottage in Dewey Beach became our home for 8 days in the summer of 2017. Keith was prompt with replies to any questions, and patient while I put my plans together. The cottage was everything we needed: all the amenities of home - comfy beds, large kitchen area including table (for several adults to be cooking/using at one time), outdoor hose, excellent internet service, TV and roku/netflix, extra keys, cozy bathroom with more-than-sufficient shower water pressure... at a very reasonable price. We were especially pleased with the location - a several minute walk to the beach, as well as to the cafés, restaurants and bakery in Dewey. We also had a 2nd car for which Keith had a pass available with deposit. The cottage is tucked behind the houses along Saulsbury Rd aiding in its privacy. We loved our week in Dewey, and hope to return in October. . . Thank you, Keith and Bonnie!!

We had such a nice stay in this little cottage! It was very close to the beach and all of Dewey beach bars and entertainment. The house had everything that we needed- very neat and clean. We will be back!

Great little house perfectly located, with kitchen that has everything you could possibly need to make food if you want to eat in. Close walk to the beach and lots of places to eat in Dewey Beach. The beach was clean and not crowded, even it was 3rd week of August. Our 16 year old teenagers enjoyed biking to Rehobath and to Park Hanlopen. We'll definately do it again

Perfect location, 100 steps from the beach (literally) my 4 and 6-yr old counted! We had an amazing first visit to Dewey Beach. The house was exactly as pictured. Mr. Bird's customer service was excellent all the way to checkout. Walking distance to dining and a few bars for the adults. We also walked to Monday Night at the Movies and the weekly Bonfire on the Beach hosted by the Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce. The Tanger Outlets and Jungle Jim's Water Park & Mini Golf was also a hit. We will definitely stay here again. I've already recommended it to my BFF and her family.
