Can’t beat the location- close to Ballhooter and the village. The lodge could use a little updating and the playground advertised was not available during our stay.

The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and everything worked.

Loved the accomodations! My buddy and I came up for a quick trip and get on the slopes on a Monday away from work. The room was just as listed online and a convenient walk over to the village for dinner/drinks in the evening. Then just steps to the slopes in the morning. Our host was very responsive to questions and I would definitely rent this place again :)

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The code for the door didn't work as intended but Mountain Lodge employees were there immediately to help us get into the condo. The view from this condo is amazing! It's definitely a condo we will stay in again if ours is rented!

We stayed at the property over the July 4th weekend. The unit was clean, well stocked, and offered an incredible view of Snowshoe and the surrounding mountains. For it being off season and warm, a portable AC unit was used to keep the unit cool. The bathroom had plenty of towels and wash cloths. The kitchen had plenty of silverware, cups, plates, and cooking supplies. The bed was comfy as well as the couch in the living room. The unit was a very short walk (less than 5 min) from the village and activities. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anybody! Be was also great with communication and even offered us suggestions on activities to do in the area.

Was a prime location for walking around Snowshoe resort.

You are very close to the slopes and the views from the room is excellent. You are in the heart of the village and you can see the slopes from your room. Will definitely be back.

The lodge was great. The location doesn’t get much better, just steps away from the ballhooter lift. The stove and fridge came in handy for late night snacking and breakfast. Perfect size for 2-4 people. Great communication by Ben. The computer system at the lodge had a malfunction which caused my booking to not be in their system. I found this out at 1am when I got to the property. I called Ben at this time, not only did he answer, but he took care of it immediately. He made sure to make it right, and you can’t ask for more than that out of a host. I will definitely stay here again!

This was in a perfect location for our trip and was a good size for a group of 4.

Ben went above and beyond to help accommodate our trip. His unit is very easy to access the slopes. We didn’t need to get back in our vehicle until it was time to leave. Very convenient location!

The ski in/out access is always a great pull for me. Check in process went well. Arrived before check in time, and had a little scare with the parking attendant because he could not find our reservation. Ben (owner) straightened everything out, and even refunded us 20 dollars (which he didn’t have to, appreciate the refund) for the hassle.

My boys and I had a great time at Snowshoe; the Mountain Lodge was the perfect home base for us.

A convenient and affordable little condo. Had everything we needed, including sheets and blankets for the futon. The outside of the building does look a bit stark -- there's virtually no greenery, and the lack of balconies makes the facade appear rather plain -- but once you're through the main doors, the place feels much more homey. We interacted with the front desk staff a few times, and they were always friendly and happy to help. The electronic keypad on the door to the unit worked perfectly (pro tip: the numbers don't appear until you touch it). The Wi-Fi cut out once for about a minute, but was otherwise strong and reliable. Everything was clean and nicely furnished, and I only missed one item while I was there: a colander! (Fortunately, the pot lid works fine in a pinch.) All in all, it's a great place at a great price. I'd stay there again. A side note, for anyone visiting in the off-season: you should be aware that (shockingly) the internet does NOT have the most accurate information on which places are open, or their hours. We knew ahead of time that almost everything would be closed; and yet, when Google promised us warm food on a cold evening, we fell right into its trap. Don't be like us. Don't walk a mile on hope alone. And if you absolutely must take the gamble... at least bring a snack. ;)
