Easy access to grocery, Indiana Dunes, downtown Michigan City. There were a few issues with cleaning - in particular, a large chunk of broken glass that was partially under the living room rug and couch. Could have used a more thorough vacuum/look-over prior to our stay. Super convenient that we could text the management office if we had any questions or concerns. Loved the Reunion House overall!

It is very clean house with a workable kitchen. , The bedrooms were comfortable and each had their own BR. We enjoyed having the guest house giving the extra space that we needed. We liked the location which was right across the street from the lake.

The location to the beach was excellent. You have to mindful of the traffic. We did have a problem with the AC while we were there that left us sleeping uncomfortably for two nights. We had unseasonable heat of 93 degrees days for three days and the AC couldn't keep up. Other than that, great place, location and accommodations.

You can't get closer to the beach than this house! Also just want to mention that both the Beachwalk staff was super helpful with reservation process, and owner stopped by to answer any questions we had, very nice! We plan to return!

We probably should have notified the company, but we just cleaned it upon arrival because it was late when we all arrived. It wasn't vacuumed and we kept finding fake nails on the floor. The mattresses and furniture could use some updating. It was a great location- just wish it had been cleaner.

We were told we needed to buy wristbands for all adults and children over 4 years old. I paid $190.00. There were four children under the age of 4. Three adults used their wristbands taking two of the small children to the baby pool. $160.00 was paid out needlessly. I feel the need for the wristbands was misrepresented. The space was adequate; however, the owners had way too much "decoration." Many closets, drawers, table and countertops were filled with unnecessary "stuff." A carpenter needs to go along the outside decks and stairs to pound down jutting nails. The inside stairs need to be checked also. The worst part was having the feral cats living in the garage below the guest house. People need to be forewarned about their presence. This is a health hazard. Many people are allergic to cats. Many of us who stayed became highly allergenated and experienced great discomfort. The cats became more aggressive as the days passed. Several walked right into the house when a door was opened. The house had lots of charm. The wraparound porches and the courtyard were delightful and got lots of use. The beds were clean. The kitchen was well supplied with kitchen needs. The first floor was very cold. The second floor was hot. Trash pickup was not good. It was not picked up the entire time we were there although we made numerous calls to the office. We loved Lake Michigan, the Zoo, the Dunes, and Mall shopping. Albanos Villa MC had wonderful pizza! Bridges Waterside Grille was good also. We loved the house and its location. I would not recommend it without having the above concerns addressed. The property management company was very professional. They answered the phone quickly and were helpful. Other than the way the resort fee was misrepresented, they were good. Regarding recommending the property I didn't want to say "no" but I also didn't want to say "yes."
