A very comfortable room and a great location in the town.

The breakfast was excellent but the dining room could have been warmer and a background radio or music would have been welcome,. Staff member Denis was helpful,welcoming and professional

Great location, in walking distance to everything. Free street parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent quality

Shower was a wet room and the whole room got wet when you took a shower

It is more of a hotel than a bed-and-breakfast, although breakfast was included. The food was good. It’s a bar and restaurant downstairs that seems to have a great lunch and dinners too, although we didn’t get a chance to try them.

It was older I guess we are in Ireland so that is to be expected. A little dusty but not dirty. The guy who ran the place seemed to be there 24/7 and warmed up to us by the time we left.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, easy location and very comfortable. Easy parking around the hotel. Enjoyed the restaurant and the food was very good. Great pub. Very easy to drive to Cork to visit some of the town highlights.

Maybe staff could be a bit more knowledgeable about where to have dinner in the town - the restaurant at the hotel gets busy and if one misses a booking - good to know where the next best restaurant is in town in order to enjoy the local food and drink.

We had a wonderful one night stay at An tSugan. The building was full of character and history which was something I wasn't aware of at the time of booking but which definitely added to our experience there. The room we had was clean, fresh and nicely decorated in a modern style but still suited the building. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was one of the best I have had in a long time. Was really delighted that we chose to stay here over a larger hotel as it all had such an intimate feel to it. It was also a short walk to local pubs with music so is an ideal location if you want to explore central Clonakilty on foot. Highly recommended and would happily stay here again!

An Súgán bed and breakfast was a fab place 2 stay it was decorated beautifully had a old worldly charm it is near all the pubs 10 out of 10 for the breakfast had poached egg it was 2 die for so a great place 2 stay

The single room is advertised as semi ensuite but has no toilet. I was aware of this when I booked but the website states it was just down the hall. Actually it is up a set of stairs, quite inconvenient in the middle of the night ! No iron or hairdryer and although there is a kettle and tea and coffee sachets, there were no cups. However this only applied to the single room and not the double where my family stayed.
