Clean, organised and perfect for what we needed. Lovely and warm when we entered our room with the heating on. Lovely gesture.

There were lots of things we liked about staying here....the friendly owners, our room which backed onto a lovely native garden which was full of native birds, and their beautiful birdsong, the exceptional cleanliness and the quietness. This motel had everything we needed and we'll definitely stay here again when in Akaroa.

Warm welcome. 10 min walk into town and very quiet. Lovely garden setting at rear of the unit. Great to know laundry facilities available.

There was a motion sensor exhaust in the bathroom/toilet. Annoying that it went on for some time; rather annoying if trying to quietly go to toilet at night.

Very comfortable, clean, lovely balcony, helpful and friendly hosts. Quiet even though it is off the main road. Short distance to center of town.

Not directly in town center, but 10-15 minute walk

Loved sitting on the veranda listening to the cicadas and flemenco and salsa music drifting on the breeze from the local bar. The apartment was comfy and provided everything we needed. We appreciated using the laundry and our hosts were so pleasant and helpful.

Air conditioning would have been nice as it was very hot

Handy location, very short walk to shops and cafes. Comfy bed and friendly staff but our favourite part was the lovely garden outlook from the room.

Location is perfect for walking around or cycling. Loved our stay sorry we could only get 1 night. Akaroa is stunning we will be back.

Trev, the owner, was an absolute delight. Full of energy and enthusiasm for us staying there. He had lots of information about the town and things to do. The place itself was stunning, the facilities were top quality for such a good price.

Lying in bed in the morning, looking out to the native bush, watching a piwakawaka flutter in the branches - listening to the babbling stream. What more could anyone want?
