The views are stunning, a lovely clean hotel

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed with several aspects of the property. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff, who were always friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal, offering easy access to local attractions and amenities. The breakfast was another standout feature, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Traumhafte Lage über der Bucht mit Blick auf die Landschaft und das Meer. Der Trubel im Ort ist weit genug weg, um die Urlaubsruhe nicht zu stören, aber in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Super Frühstück und Bar zur Selbstbedienung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt.
Schritte und Gespräche im Treppenhaus, dem Flur oder dem höhergelegenen Stockwerk waren zu hören.

Excellent breakfast with lots of variety and the staff were very accommodating (eg prepared porridge even though not on the menu)
Really comfortable and large bed. Great shower facilities. Room was cleaned well.

Just a short walk (up a steep hill) from Barmouth itself. Nice quiet area from where to start walks or to pop down to the town and beach.
They weren’t offering an evening meal/restaurant which was not a problem as there are lots of places to eat nearby and they sent a lot of locations. Do book ahead if you want to eat out as most places were at capacity (late July).

There was fan/pump noise in a few of the rooms, not sure if boiler flu or kitchen extract or water pump.
A friend moved rooms as a result so very helpful, it really need to sort that else a few rooms would not really be suitable for sleeping in.
seemed under staffed to me. needed at least one extra.
Plants seemed to be all plastic, and parts or decor/walls just needed a little touch up here and there. This detracted for me from what could be first class hotel.

Ha d great room with a side sea view room 1 decor was well thought out with excellent taste Spotlessly clean.Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had it was piping hot well presented and r=tasty. Large selection of fruit and cereals

EVERYTHING!!! the staff were incredible and so thoughtful and treated us like queens!!! so spoilt, it was so amazing and so excited for next stay

Gary was awesome! He helped us with storing our tandem bike. He even found us a hose to clean it up after the rain storm. Lovely hotel with awesome view.

Very nice hotel, lovely room and shower. Breakfast very good. Steep hill to get back to hotel if walking which is not good for people with mobility issues, staff are nice and friendly.

the Host Gary was very welcoming, explaining everything clearly.
The bed was very comfortable, although could do with a headboard
breakfast was good quality, bacon and sausages very tasty, the hash brown was cooked in an oddly tasting oil and was rather greasy.
the road up to it is extremely steep, so a walk down to the town results in a arduous trek back up to the hotel.

room door catches on carpet so is hard to push open
extractor fan in bathroom runs continuously
no chairs in bedroom, as the room has a bay window with a sea view it makes sense to put some there instead of the rather pointless table that fills the space now.

This was a fabulous experience in a gorgeous hotel with an amazing view of where the estuary meets the Irish Sea. Gary the manager was incredibly helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious with a huge variety of options. The bar, sitting area, and outdoor area were all beautiful overlooking the bridge and water. Loved this place and can't wait to come back, enjoy the hotel and run on the Mawddach trail again.
