The only staff person at this HUGE complex that I saw was very helpful and busy. She checked me in, took my food order, and prepared a takeout breakfast for a predawn start on a cycling tour. I did not see any other guests, the hotel had a vague "the Shining" feel as it was empty except for the one-woman crew. It was very hot and this was one of the few hotels that provided a much-appreciated fan. Cycling friendly, good parking for the bike, and the packed breakfast made for a good start on a long day.

We liked everything! When we stayed there, it was the hottest day. We had booked a regular room, but on the way there the owner called us and offered with discount their apartment because it had AC in. We arrived very late, they waited us. The breakast was good. The yard is really beatiful in day and night.

Everything was perfect, the only thing I didn't like -is the pillow :) but that's my problem really :)

The bathroom & shower was like new. You could regulate the temperature in the room on the radiator yourself.

I had to sleep on the single bed that was in the same room because the double bed was more like one-and-a-half bed - we couldn't fit comfortably with my wife together. And in general beds were very uncomfortable, could feel all the springs on my body. The room was tiny, a little claustrophobic even. The walls were paper thin - could here people snoring in the next room.

The owners are amazing, you feel as a welcomed guest there. The food is great, rooms have the charm of a mansion and surrounding are very lovely – like staying on a farm. The place is very calm and perfect if you need to relax for a day after a long trip.

Not happy with this place. We were supposed to get a bigger room with balcony and air-conditioning, and also with a fridge and kettle. That's what I booked, but the owner explained she has rooms with balcony that are already booked, fridge and kettle in the hallway. Apparently some mix up with booking.com, however no apology given. They also didn't check details of our reservation when we checked in and didn't notice that we checked out a day early as we just couldn't sleep. so can't praise the service. Bed was very small (for two slim people) and uncomfortable, room was small and very hot, although clean. Showerhead in the bathroom had to be handheld, although good water pressure. Nice to have a kettle in the hallway, but neither coffee nor cups were provided. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. Garden was nice, but right next to the road, so not pleasant to sit in. Most uncomfortable was the heat in the room, which meant we couldn't sleep at all and the fan (I guess this was the air-con we were promised) did little to help.

The biggest disappointment was that we booked something entirely different than we received. I booked a room with a balcony and air-con in the hottest time of the year, and that's not what we got.

The room was big and clean. The breakfast was very good. The area is really calm. The hotel has a big open air parking. The bathroom was big and had everything we needed. Even if we arrived very late after the opening hours of the reception, the staff was extremely helpful and we accessed our room without any issue.

The beds are a bit old and noisy but not a major issue.
