Huge room with an amazing ocean view from our terrace. Till now the best room we had in Dominican Republic!

the property is 50 meters from the beach with beautiful views and very quite. The staff was friendly and I felt safe at the property. This is one of my favorite places to stay while in the Dominican Republic. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

Place and rooms are lovely, exactly like in the photos. Hotel is spacious and designed to rest - there are room with private space for relax. My room had access to shared relaxing terrace and kitchen but I don’t regret choice, it was never too crowded. View was great as hotel is right by the ocean. Owner is superkind and helpful man ready to share useful tips and solve any problem.

Maybe some space to hang clothes in the room was missing. Some pillows were too hard. Cleaning service missed my room once or twice by some mistake but when they cleaned it – quality was perfect. Take your time before you get the breakfast ;)

location near back and restaurants. they fixed our shower after we mentioned it was shooting horizontally not down soo impossible to shower. hot water, which is not a given in DR. Customer service was good.

The staff spoke little if no English which is not uncommon here. Luckily my partner spoke a little Spanish.

the view of the apartments towards the sea was incredible, it was quiet (only nature sounds), 5 walking minutes away from las Galeras beach, we took a boat from there to playa fronton- 15 min (not a swimming beach, beautiful but for snorkeling only as there are thousands of sea urchins and the reef is very close to the beach). we drove by car 25 min to playa Rincon. we participated morning yoga at villa Serena which is 7 walking min away (you need to sign up the day before). it was a perfect place to start excursions and enjoy the quiet las Galeras side. the beds were very comfortable and wifi worked well.

the cleaning didn’t work out the way it „could have been“ despite talking to the owner. he apologized but it doesn’t minder the fact that the cleaning lady didn’t only notice clean our apartment but also left the door wide open which we noticed when we returned after a full day excursion. all our belongings were still there but we still felt quite uncomfortable - the days after this happened only our trash was taking out, no beds were made, the sand wasn’t mopped and when they repaired a lamp (not on our request) while we were gone the packaging stayed there were they left it until we left the place. the breakfast was ok, I got on request vegan milk and cereals). we asked twice for earlier breakfast but it wasn’t possible, breakfast starts between 8:30&9 - so bring your own food if you plan full day excursions as you won’t get early or packed breakfast.

They were nice because they did not charge me for the second night of my 2 nights stay when I cancelled it because I disliked my room so much that we booked another place right as soon as we saw our room. breakfast was nights and the ladies in the kitchen were very sweet

it was more like a hostel than a hotel. The room was terrible, old, not clean, dark, tacky, with a terrible shared terrace proper of a cheap hostel. the room did not have toilet paper. the place DO NOT LOOK like in the photos.

location is good! Right by the beach and next to the excursions departure (mini) port! Food is delicious and the property is clean.

the location, the attention very nice people

Great location right in front of the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful and the Dominincan breakfast was delicious, but you also have facilities to cook your own meals if you prefer that. As a solo traveler I always look for comfort, security and a place where I can easialy get to other places. At la Isleta not only I was in front of the beach but also the bus stop to other cities was just around the corner, in addition you do not have to walk much to find the spots in the city and it is super quiet for not being right in the middle of the vila. You migh hear the capitans setting up their boats early morning, which makes the experiecen just more magical and joyful. The room is simple and comfortable just how I like to enjoy my trips. The staff was friedly, helpful and made sure I was feeling safe. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely come back.

There is nothing I didn't like. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for a more upscale vacation, but other than that the place is perfect.

The hotel was really nice and location was perfect. The staff was really friends and atmosphere was excellent.

It would have been really nice if there had been some snacks for example sandwiches for sale.

Everything was perfect, literally 3min walk to the beach of Las Galeras, 3min the other way gets you to the main street with restaurants, bars and shops. Rooms are clean and breakfast is delicious and fresh.

The owner is amazing he rally cared and loves talking to you. Gave us good recommendation on things to do and places to go and also recommended quicker way to get to playa rincon which google doesn't. Brilliant location, very close to the beach. We requested the owner to create a breakfast pack as we wanted to leave early in the morning and he did it without any hesitation.

The only thing lacked was the service during breakfast it was really slow and probably could do better with more staff or better training on how to run the service.

It was our fist time coming to The Galeras and we loved it! We loved the area a lot! Small but at the same time we felt really good and also the food was great! We also want to thank the receptionist for all the advice and help! We really really appreciated it😍

Beachfront, Near Rest.

Friendly staff, nice pool, excellent location - The beach (some 500m east from the hotel) is certainly nicer than Playa Rincon.

Cleanliness could be improved.

It's in between renovations but overall it's quiet and a good place to stay

I can ´ t. say what was nice, because I didn ´ t find it.

After arrival we saw our room not clean, we don ´ t have any bottle of water, shelves in the closet were dirty. if we asked something from staff it took longer time. Hotel was in renovation so there was too noisy. Also other close hotels were under renovattion so it was totally noisy area.

Best hotel in Las Galeras (and we had 3...) Staff was so friendly, lovely breakfast, beautyful view, directly located in the center of Las Galeras, a huge and so cosy bed. Really recommendable.

VIEW IS AMAZING! pool is beautiful and this is perfect for family with kids. Room cleaned every day and new towels every day... location is just perfect!

breakfast is always the same (really if I need to dislike something but that didn't bother us at the end of the day!)
