This is a beautiful house. Very clean and organized, with a set up that worked very well for our family. There was a master bedroom and bath, with a jacuzzi. The other 4 bedrooms were tastefully decorated with bathrooms, and an adjoining bathroom. We were able to cook breakfast and dinner. The private pool is an added touch. The property is a couple of blocks from the beach, and a 6 seat golf cart was provided to get us back and forth. This was very convenient, except for when it gave us problems. It didn’t work the last day we were there. Aside from that, we had a great week, and loved the house.

Awesome house to stay for our family. Easy access to the beach. A very nice grocery store nearby and the police were very active in stopping speeding cars, which I appreciated very much. Downtown Charleston was minutes away and easy to access. We loved our stay. The owner was very thoughtful and pulled our trash down to the curb without us knowing or disturbing us. I would highly recommend staying here.

The house has plenty of room for 10-12 guests if some don’t mind sharing beds. It is supplied with all you need for cooking, sleeping and beach visits. I would have given 5 stars on cleanliness except for some outside areas. The inside was appropriately clean. We had to clean the grill and pool. After we cleaned the pool, a crew then came to do it, but my husband had already cleaned the bottom with the equipment on site. He also used the leaf blower to clean off the porches. It’s a nice house but could use a good exterior cleaning. The owner was quick with responses to issues. It is located strictly in a residential area. No businesses for a few miles save for one restaurant tucked a half mile away on another street. The beach isn’t walking distance but there are golf carts available. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone who wants to host larger groups.

Went to the house to celebrate a birthday. Location was great. One of the golf carts was not operational and could never figure out how to work the lights upstairs in the common area. There was a screen left out on the porch and pool toys in the yard left from the previous guest I’m assuming but other than those few things it was a lovely home and great location.

Lovely location & home. Couch main floor will swallow you. Main floor king bed not supported in middle. Main floor shower diverter to shower, only 1/2 water goes to shower head Sink doesn’t empty in that BR and slow in others. We fixed a chair leg that had unscrewed. A very nice house overall

Other than the following, the place was great. -not clean upon checkin: Lots of dog hair on the couch (allergies!) Sand several places on the floor Dog food on floor underneath dishwasher We bought tissues for every bathroom Bikes were not fixable to use Grill was not usable unless we scrubbed it Dog poop in back yard (to step in) Seems like the only “cleaning” service is that the sheets and towels are turned over. Should NOT use the house# as the access code, nor should you post notices on the front door. That’s screams, rental (not security approved)

The house was perfect for our family. We had plenty of room and everything we would need. Beautiful house and loved the pool in the back. Excellent!

A great house for the family. There was no gas grill that was mentioned in the listing but there is a camping charcoal grill that worked. The house had 2 golf carts and bikes that worked that we enjoyed.

House was very pretty but needs updates and a deep clean. Nice furniture on front porch. Back screened in porch nice. Beds very comfortable. Nice that beds had linens on them when we got there. Good AC (which is very important to our family :)). Upstairs master bath has a nice shower - rest are ok. Took long time for water to get hot (not really issue for upstairs master but all others had some problem getting it to warm up - maybe something with handles?) Lots of room for our group of 6 adults, 4 kids under 8yo, one baby. Golf carts made going to the beach much easier (beach not very close). Hint - you can park golf cart close to beach at 25th (the owner helped us with this tip as my Mom has MS). Trip takes about 5-10 minutes. Lots of fun beach toys for kids in garage/basement. There was a flat tire on one golf cart - I told owner, but he had no comment, no apology. But he responded quickly to all other questions. He likes short responses which is ok. We ended up using pump that was there and it was fine. Biggest disappointment was there was no gas grill. I asked owner and was informed there hasn’t been one there for 5 years (but it is still listed as present on listing). He did not apologize but, again, was quick to get back to me. Ice maker (in freezer - not freestanding) works but not quickly and doesn’t make a lot- not enough for coolers. Kitchen has most necessities but not overstocked. Has Keurig. Provided towels but not very many extra. Toilet in downstairs master kept flushing itself - needs new flap we think. Disappointed with 5pm check in and crazy cost of checking in early (which we didn’t do). Pool is ok - surrounding furniture not impressive. Bring mosquito spray. Hope this helps others!

Great house, great location. Had a blast.

We enjoyed our stay here. The property manager is a little curt when you ask him questions but did always respond in a timely manner. They send out an important items pdf file through VRBO messages that contains the access codes etc, however it’s not something that can be opened on your mobile. Definetly print it off before u go. Everything was clean outside of the main shower curtain upstairs could use some Clorox on a few mildew spots. Golf carts are a nice addition. Didn’t have to move our car after we parked. However, the breaks on the 6 sitter aren’t the best so make sure to start breaking early! The beach was divine, the house and pool were awesome overall. I didn’t see beach chairs but could have overlooked. Glad we deceived to bring our own last min! Definetly would recommend this place for families. Our two little kids loved it.

Nice neighborhood convenient to Charleston

Overall it was a great experience! The house was clean and the location was phenomenal! Early check-in was a bit challenging since cleaners were there past 4 pm. But overall, if was a great house and made our wedding week a memorable one. Thank you and we highly recommend this home.

My family and I rented this property as we were attending a wedding at the Citadel Beach House. The location is prime with easy access to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The home was beautiful and well equipped for all our needs. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent from this owner again!

Property was more than we could ever ask for, it was very relaxing and spacious enough for our family. We will book this place anytime it is available.

Had a wonderful family vacation in this spacious and comfortable home. Great location to the beach and golf course. However, BBQ was very disappointing for this type of home and cost. Basically what you would find in a public park. Kitchen had just the basics.

Great house! Only drawback was unable to connect to WIFI even with password. Also televisions need written instructions to operate with cable company! Numerous remotes….small thing however compared to pluses.

My family rented this property for 4 days and we loved it. We were there for my son's wedding and it was perfect. The house was clean and spacious. We would definitely rent again!

There was plenty of room for the seven of us. We had 3 people in our party working online and each had their own space. The use of the golf carts were a great benefit and made getting to the beach so easy. Close to the grocery store and restaurants. The pool and area around it needed attention. We spent most of our time out on the front porch.

My family and I stayed at this Isle of Palms property and it did to disappoint. The house is spacious and well-appointed. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and we were very comfortable. We loved the pool in the backyard and the fact the yard is fenced in. Our Cavapoo did zoomies until he couldn't run anymore! The location is excellent. The house is a couple of blocks from the beach. The owner leaves one golf cart for use -- nice touch. There are plenty of beach items to borrow in the house so no need to travel with your own! Finally, when my granddaughter asked if we could vacation here every year we knew we had a winner!!

This place was shockingly unclean, and we refused to check in. We arrived about 2.5 hours after the scheduled check-in time and found dirty sheets and towels on the floor of the laundry room, trash in the bathrooms, and even a pink lady’s razor sitting on the nightstand of the master bed, next to the reading lamp. Who shaves while they’re in bed? ... and what were they shaving? The sheets can be washed, but what about the bedspread?We brought these issues up to the property manager. We expected that a simple process, to confirm a place is properly cleaned and sanitized before the next renter shows up, would be the safe and pragmatic policy for today. We were wrong.We ended up leaving and getting dinner, and the property manager never seemed to take it all that seriously. He didn’t apologize - he didn’t even offer to buy us pizza. It felt like he was making this our problem; it felt like we were being gas-lighted. After dinner, when we called back, we were told the place had been cleaned. We decided to check in, since we didn’t have many options since we already paid for 2 weeks, and it was 10pm. We did bring up our dissatisfaction with the property manager - he offered the small refund (less than the equivalent of 1 night) - we agreed to it just so we could move on and enjoy our time. And that’s when he sent over the Cover Up - he insisted we sign a legal agreement to prevent us from saying anything - with a whopping $15,000 penalty. Can you imagine? He called it his ‘policy’.Well, call it our midwestern sensibilities, but we refused. There is no chance we would ever stay here again, or with any other property managed by this guy or his 'company'.

This property had it all - plenty of room, golf cart, large kitchen, pool, fenced in yard for the dogs, kayaks, and sand toys. We had a fabulous family vacation!

This is a comfortable home with plenty of room for family. The golf cart and heated pool are great addictions. However, the price for the heat for the pool as well as charges for early check in (no one was renting the home before us) are high! We were in the area early and would like to have checked in but due to charge decided not to.
