Our stay in April was wonderful. The kids were in the water sun up to sun down. The home was just what we wanted.

This property was beautiful and the proximity to the beach was absolutely perfect. The pool was comfortable and so much fun! The house has basically everything you could want other than beach towels but that was indicated in the listing so we had ours :). The kitchen has pretty much everything you could want in terms of appliances too! The overall cleanliness was pretty good however, the bathrooms needed a little more TLC for cleaning in my opinion. We did have some sanitizer wipes and cleaned the toilets and tubs ourselves as we had small children that would be taking a bath and felt it was necessary. Another great thing was the communication. We had a minor issue with the grill that we were able to figure out but the owner got back to us almost immediately which is so helpful when you’re in someone else’s house. Overall I give this property a 5/5, it was lovely!

This property is amazing! The views are beautiful and the pool was fantastic. We had a fantastic trip and are looking forward to coming again. The owner was great to deal with and very responsive. Highly recommend.

Wonderful doesn’t quite describe this place!
This was our second time to visit St. George Island, and Allyson‘s home did not disappoint! The house was extremely clean, and the location was 10/10! I love that the house was only a short walk down our personal boardwalk to the beach. The pool was fantastic, and the kids loved playing in it all week. They loved the bunk room, toys, DVDs, and all the sand toys outside! Allyson was very responsive and available to answer any questions we had. I truly don’t think we could have enjoyed our week at St. George Island an ymore! Thanks for sharing your home with us 💗

Best thing ever
This house proved to live up to it’s name. It was an excellent property for our intentions which were to have an enjoyable beach vacation, cook local food, sit back and enjoy the ocean view and enjoy St. George Island. The house was well stocked with everything you would need for a great beach vacation. I’m not sure you can beat it on St. George. I will definitely stay again!

Best thing ever
This house was absolutely beautiful!! Located right on the beach which was really convenient with all the kids. House was supplied well and very kid friendly. If your looking for a quiet get away this is the place!! Would recommend it to anyone

The house was great!
The house was great, and the location was perfect. Having the nice size pool was great as well. The beach wasn’t crowded. We were also able to cook all our meals at the house. Our whole crew enjoyed watching dolphins from the back porch and loved every minute at the beach!

We had a tremendous week in Best Thing Ever! The home was beautifully appointed and very relaxing. The host was wonderful to work with and very responsive if we had any questions. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Best Thing Ever!

Summer Family Getaway
This home is beautiful and the location was PERFECT. My mother-in-law took her three sons, her three daughter-in-laws and all four grandkids and there was plenty of room for us all. The home is just as described. We loved the private pool and the quick walk to the beach via the boardwalk. The living room, dining room and kitchen allowed enough space for us all to gather for meals, games, cocktails and space to play for all the kids. We utilized the covered decks with their beautiful view every day and several times a day. Several restaurants (offering dine in and take out), numerous souvenir shops, two ice creameries and two grocery stores were available on the island. The owner was always extremely responsive to questions before we booked, before we arrived and during our stay. The home, pool and beach were perfection. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful house with lots of perks
It was our first trip to SGI and we loved it. The house made it even more enjoyable. The top porch was perfect for families with kids; no exit from the very top which made it easy to watch the kids. Multiple points of entry and exit made it easy to get out and not disturb other parties. We also enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and gas grill. Would highly recommend this to families with small children as you could spend the morning at the beach then relax poolside while kids napped. The speed queen washer and dryer in the unit was an extra added bonus!!

Just What We Needed
We had an amazing time at Best Thing Ever. The home was beautiful and location was quiet. The whole family enjoyed the huge pool and the beach. Owners we’re great to work with and easy to contact. We would definitely stay here again

Pure relaxation
Incredible home right on the beach with a huge, lovely pool and deck. Updated appliances and very comfortable furniture and beds. Property owner is a joy to work with. Recommend highly!

Awesome beach house!
My family wanted a house with no crowds, fun restaurants, a private pool, and a beachfront view and private beach access. This place was exactly that. The owners were very responsive to our questions. They had the inside super clean, and the pool was pre heated. The living room upstairs was bright and cheery with games and an incredible view of the ocean (and the dolphins and diving gulls). The stars at night we’re super bright. It was as advertised. I would like to thank the owner for sharing this property with my family. Outside of my teenagers having their moments of irrationality, the trip could not have gone better.

Great house! The temps were a little on the cooler side this week, so it was great to have the heated pool. Plenty of room overall in the house and the open concept - living, dining, and kitchen - with the beautiful view really makes this beach house.

Relaxing NYE
We had a great stay. The house is nicely updated. Beds are comfortable. Location and view are fabulous. We were not able to use the pool as we were notified that the ambient temperature was too cold for heating it. We did take long walks on the beach, cook and relax. Owner was responsive and very accommodating in helping us retrieve our son's wallet.

Great Place To Stay
This house has many amenities such as large inground pool, elevator, direct access to beach, multiple covered balconies, and and a beautiful view. It was great for our family of 11 ( 6 adults and 5 grandchildren ages 12 -16.

Nice place
We paid the same price for a house in St Petersburg but had a golf cart, fishing poles, private pool, & more towels & linens for our use. The pool is being put in put watching the crew it will be a long time to get it in, they got very little done in the 3 days we were there.

We really enjoyed staying at the Best Thing Ever! I really enjoyed the privacy of the beach. The beach home had everything we needed and more! Loads of fun!

Great House!!
Best Thing Ever was the perfect house for us. We've stayed in several beach houses over the years and this is one of the best ones. What we liked most was the attention to detail. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of games. Great view of the ocean. Quiet area. Easy to find. The elevator was very handy in getting luggage from the ground level to the third floor. You cannot go wrong in renting this house.

Great getaway destination
The house was just as beautiful as the pictures indicate. Everything in working order and spotless. Great beach access. Sugar sand beaches. Beautiful state park...don’t miss it. We had a girls retreat and all went back home rested and refreshed.
The rental agent and owner both responded quickly to any questions we had.
