We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. Clean, quiet and within walking distance to everything in town. The outdoor steps up to the front door are steep. My friend was a little unsteady carrying luggage up and down the stairs we are seniors. Did not use the deck.

I do not recommend this place, especially for anyone elderly. There’s steep narrow steps up to the apartment with a bare wood railing. When you walk in the air freshener is so overpowering and smells awful…I had to open the windows, or the ones that actually opened to get rid of the smell. The floor is slanted, there’s a few steps going down to one of the bedrooms, and the table and chairs are tight next to the steps, the tv didn’t work the whole time we were there . The beds are practically on the floor and the furniture is actually a futon and chair that look like college dorm furniture from Walmart. The owner laughed that our tv didn’t work and said to go sit outside. There’s a rotted deck out back that is really small and dark. You can not tell that by looking at the pictures the owner posted. We booked for 3 days but left after 1 as this place is a dump.

Clean, comfortable, just the right place to stay! We loved being able to walk to the restaurants and bars, and to have close access to the river. The space was so beautifully decorated and we slept so well on the very comfortable mattress! Everything we needed was provided, and just an overall great experience.

Deck was rotted out,no heat control ,no tv ,Loud music from downstairs, Could not get a hold of any one.

The location was perfect….walking distance to everything downtown. Would definitely like to revisit and recommend to others.

Really enjoyed our stay…close to everything, very cozy and clean!

We came with the idea to do some short day trips and relax late afternoon and evening. The atmosphere was exactly what we needed and the apartment was very clean. You can't miss the National Eagle Center, it's a half a block away. We also took time to do a couple of short day trips to the International Owl Center in Houston, Minnesota and Zollman Zoo at Oxbow Park. It was well worth the time and money.

They said you needed to be able to do steps but steps very un safe. Very narrow and steep. Also no outside lights so you could even see to go up the steps or unlock the door at dark. No inside light at the entry. The handrail on the steps very old and hard to grip. We each got slivers from it. The location was excellent for what we wanted to do it was just the safety issues we had. I’m very surprised no one has fallen and that would be awful for your renters and you. I sure hope you repair all these issues before you rent it again

The apartment was on 2nd floor of a house. I had the bedroom on the street side and there was no street noise. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean. I think the apartment would be extremely hot in the summer time. Even though we were told the AC was set at 68 and we ran the window unit, it was still a bit warm during the middle of the day. We opened windows at night and having autumn temperatures it was fine. There is currently no view from the back deck because the tree has overgrown over into that area. That was a real shame. There is a view of the river from the kitchen window. We had planned to drink our coffee in the mornings and have cocktails at night on the deck. But overall, it was comfortable and nice location.

I’ve enjoyed many VRBOs in many US cities and I have to say that this one has the best location. We could walk everywhere—food, beach, activities (hello, Eagle Center!), yet it was never loud or congested. We absolutely loved our host and Wabasha. This rental makes a great homebase for WI and MN excursions. We will be back.

Great place and centrally located to all we wanted to do. We were disappointed that Wabasha seems to be a dying town. Not much was open and only two dining options were available and open during our stay. Would recommend not planning much in Wabasha on a Monday and Tuesday

The apartment is clean, tastefully decorated, and well-equipped with all the comforts of home. Love the views of the river from the deck! Close by to all that Wabasha has to offer.

Your place was great! Close to everything. Very comfortable. Plenty of room for two. The only complaint I would have -- if you could call it that) was that the National Eagle Center wasn't open yet. But that is not your problem or fault. We'll be back! And --- we'll stay at your place. Gary & Sue Scott

This spot is the perfect place to stay in Wabasha. The Mississippi River is visible from the balcony, and we were across the street from a lovely breakfast spot and a block or two away from good bars/restaurants. The new Eagle Center is right around the corner, perfect for when it opens. The apartment is spacious; bedrooms are on opposite sides of the living room (great for my teenager); and the communication with the owner was prompt and smooth.

Loved this apartment! Great location in town. There were some noisy neighbors downstairs while we were visiting, but nothing too bad.

We enjoyed our stayed. The apartment was very compy and clean. There is another apartment downstairs with tenants. It did become a little noise at times when they where home running the washing machine or showering. I'm sure they heard us as well. We tried to be quite. It's close to everything!

Cute apartment, great location. Everything as described except the tv situation, listing said cable access but there was none, only streaming. Access to deck was a nice bonus.

Great location on Main Street, around the corner from the National Eagle Center, one block off a beautiful walk along the river. I appreciated the simple, natural beauty of real wood floors and cabinets as well as tile floors, countertops and shower. The only drawback was a low, slanted ceiling in the bedroom that has the king bed. My husband and I both had to duck to get in and out of bed. For a person who's 5' 5" or less, I'm guessing it wouldn't be a problem.

I just got a bill for for a dumpy VRBO for something that was a horrible situation. At first, we thought it would be okay to stay at this place, then we realized BIG MISTAKE!! Then whole time you stay there realize the floors are slanted. If you have any type of handicap or vertigo, it is dreadful. My niece got sick from the slanted floors. I was trying to find a waste basket and then saw a camera in the bathroom. So we decided to leave immediately. The host now will not only give me a nights stay refund, but is accusing me of ruining sheets. Well, we virtually know that is impossible. There is a thing called bleach. Yes, there was a tad bit of throw up on them, but realizing there was a camera on us in the bathroom, we fled. And didn't feel the need to clean-up. So please realize I use VRBO all the time. I have an immaculate rating. But someone from VRBO needs to inspect this host. Also, we were accused of soiling a couch that neither of us even sat in. And the couch is in the kitchen. The place is small and really no place to relax and just watch TV. I now am dealing with a host that is accusing me ruining sheets, flooring and a couch. I would never disrespect someone's property. Bad deal for everyone involved.

Location is great and unit was clean. Be aware unit entry door and lock is upstairs. Had Rocu but no regular tv.
