It was a beautifully furnished and comfortable apartment. The host was very responsive. I would stay here again.

My husband and I were so glad to have chosen the Garden Apartment for our summer getaway. The apartment had all that we needed during our trip. Our next scheduled trip to No Cal will be in 2025, which we hope the apartment will be available to book. It's a great place to stay!

Lovely, well appointed apartment in a very nice, walkable neighborhood. Easy parking. Coffeehouse 2 blocks away. Marti is a personable and friendly host. Definitely would stay again and recommend to others.

Centrally located for my visit. Apartment has everything one could possibility need. Furnishings are an absolute delight. Thought I was in a Paris flat! Couldn't have been more pleased. Son slept on couch bed. Very comfortable.

This was a delightful place to stay in Alameda. It is comfortable, charming and fully equipped. It is within walking distance of parks and shops, and it's an easy drive from Oakland. The host is attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

The property was super cute, decorated in antique/vintage/asian decor. Bright and sunny during day. Quiet neighborhood. Beware of lower ceilings. TV operation a little funky to begin with but seemed to clear up. Would have been nice to know where washer/dryer were located since they are not in unit and couldn’t get a hold of host. Ended up at laundromat. Other than that, a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

It was a nice place… Very cozy. We were fortunate enough to run into Marti that owns the place. Very very nice lady and made us feel extremely welcome. Definitely a thumbs up.

Charming, cozy Victorian basement apartment - my only suggestion is additional shower storage - I have a lot of shower gear, so we had to McGyver it! Loved the convenient parking - not sure how you manage it, Marti, but there was always a space right out front - this is critical in this area.

The shower a little small, but excellent water pressure. There's a full kitchen with probably all the cooking items you would need. We would stay there again.

Comfortable bed, comfortable living area, full kitchen with all the necessaries, very nice, new-looking step-in shower, beautiful garden to enjoy reading, and great neighborhood. Everything you could want is within a mile, yet it is a short drive to Oakland and San Francisco. Perfect place to stay to be close to our Alameda family. Thank you, Marti. It was wonderful to meet you. We expect to return.

Such a pleasant stay. Easy walk to the beach. Short drive to shopping and great restaurants. The property was clean and nicely appointed. Marti was available but not intrusive.

Pretty little apartment
The location was great for traveling to different sights. The street/neighborhood was quite pretty. The apartment is furnished with antiques so it is not child friendly but it’s well outfitted for two adults. The bed was comfortable.
