Clean room and bathroom. Was great to have the private bathroom to myself, even though it was just outside my door in the hallway. I didn't see anybody shady or anything in concerning during my stay, so it was very calm. Very simple room but they did their best to add nice touches, eg flowers, pictures, airing out the room upon arrival. I was pleasantly surprised that despite being in a townhouse and cold weather, the shower had a great temperature as well as pressure. There was also a heater in my room which worked brilliantly. I had everything I really needed on this trip! The neighborhood was lovely as well, many delicious and affordable food options nearby including African and Latin American restaurants. I will also add that I arrived some late evenings (after 3am) and didn't feel unsafe (I am a 30-something female solo traveler). Thank you! :)

I do feel like it might be just a little bit overpriced for what it was (it may have been the dates I booked), and I did not get the same "feel" I got from the pictures - It's really just a stay in someone's house, not too much of a hotel vibe - so manage your expectations accordingly :) Unfortunately the gentleman who gave me my key didn't speak much English, so we laughed through broken French and English - but he was perfectly friendly and even carried my very heavy bag upstairs for me. This is my only reason for not rating the staff full points. One recommendation I would give to the hotel is to add one more blanket (Eg. Duvet) on the bed during winter (which can also reduce heating costs).

Loved staying in a Brooklyn townhouse. It was nice that there was a kitchen available and the place felt very home-y. Staff very welcoming and speaks French.

A bit outdated, but we enjoyed this place a lot, so this was insignificant.

This is a great location, quiet house, clean room, exactly what we needed! And they even stayed late so that we could check in after our flight was delayed.

Beautiful home! The location was nearby our daughter and it was quiet. They also had soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

The room needs to have enough towels for each day guests are staying. That said, we did ask for extra and they brought them up immediately. The ceiling fan light didn’t work well we had to unscrew it.

Room is extremely tiny, bed is short, no furniture except for a small table, room requires repair. You can hear all the neighbors (walls have no isolation). The ceiling light didn't work. You need to arrange arrival time to meet the owner

The room, sheets on the bed, and towels they provided were clean. Our room provided a good view of the neighborhood. The surrounding food places were walkable and decently priced.

The staff was not accommodating about checking in early or at the very least, storing luggage, as we had an early flight to New York. The room itself was smaller than we had expected from the picture; the lights and fan barely worked; and the soap dispenser they provided in the bathroom was filled more with water than actual soap. The air conditioning unit, although it worked, was filled with dust and made sleeping uncomfortable as the room felt stuffy. One of the staff members made an offhand comment asking if we were flying from Mexico (1. we came from Chicago and 2. we’re Asian) that made the initial impression of the staff and place even more unpleasant. Given that it’s located deep in a Brooklyn neighborhood, this isn’t a place to stay if you’re looking to access the main tourist attractions in New York. I don’t think the price for how much they were charging was reasonable as we found other Airbnb’s that were around a similar price that offered better accommodations and amenities.
