The unit and grounds were lovely. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and the golf club’s pool — nicer than the St. Regis! The location was also relatively convenient to El Yunque and San Juan. We are a family of 4 that visited Villa Athena in late July 2019. First of all, the property management has excellent customer service and you should rent with them based on that alone! Not only did we need to stay earlier than anticipated, we encountered 2 cancelled flights and multiple delays along the way. They were very helpful and accomodating the entire time. Villa Athena is exactly as described. Exceptionally clean, more than enough room and contained everything you'd need for your stay. They supply you with a few food items, which is more that any other vacation rental I've ever stayed in. We spent almost every day at the resort pool, using the golf cart to get back and forth between the property and the pool/beach area and we visited the wellness center most days, so definitely invest in the daily resort fee, it's totally worth it. I honestly can not think of one bad thing about this place and would love to be able to stay again, hopefully next year!

Villa Athena is beautiful inside and out. Everything inside was clean, neat, orderly and well stocked. We only stayed for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed for longer. It is an absolutely beautiful property with amazing views right outside the door and throughout the resort. We will definitely return! Thank you for your hospitality!

Bahia Beach Resort is one of a kind; a little piece of heaven. In terms of the villa, it is just as wonderful. Beautiful, modern, chic, comfortable, neat and clean. Owners provided everything we needed to feel right at home... We particularly enjoyed the works of art all over the villa...amazing! Checking in and out was super easy! We'll be back!

This was a great stay for our family. The Marco Polo team always make it easy to enjoy ourselves and Bahia never disappoints. Would highly recommend it for fun family vacations.

We had a great stay at the Villa at Bahia Beach. This is our second visit to the resort and it never fails to please- a quiet escape in the most beautiful surroundings. The villa itself is well-equipped and was perfect for our family of four. We prefer a location on the ground floor, which this villa is, situated on the turn. We will be back.

The villa is clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well located. Everything is new with a large kitchen, dining room and sitting area and lovely patio looking at the golf course. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. The villa is a 3 minute golf cart to the beach club (or a 5 minute walk) which has stunning pools and access to a gorgeous 2 mile beach. We also used the fitness center and might have enjoyed tennis but we ran out of time. All the people working at the resort were nice and helpful. Annette and others who work for Marco Polo were incredibly welcoming and available when we arrived to show us around . We loved everything about the villa and the Resort.

We loved our stay at the Villa Athena on Bahia Beach! The condo is beautiful, clean and very well appointed. My husband and I were there for a quick warm weather getaway and our stay couldn't have been better. We loved the property and having the use of the golf cart to get around was very convenient. We also liked the fact that we could run within the resort and the wellness facility was well equipped. The beach is beautiful, and we took advantage of the pools, paddle boarding, etc. There is a grocery store within a ten minute drive of the condo and some great local restaurants.

My wife and I stayed in the Villa Athena unit for 5 nights in early June. It is a very comfortable unit and suited our needs very well. The grounds to the resort were beautiful and the condo was well appointed. It is a two bedroom and didn't feel like too much space for just the two of us but would have been fine to have a few of the kids with us. Everything about the resort is upscale. The fitness facility was nice, the boathouse, the golf course, the beach club, the pool by the unit...it was truly one of my favorite vacations and I will definitely be back. I'm sure the colder months bring more traffic from tourists but the summer was very laid back, private, and cost effective which was just what we were looking for. I look forward to working with the folks from MPC again!

Just had a wonderful weekend! The apartment’s location is perfect, bright mornings and shady afternoons, views are gorgeous, with partial ocean and mountain on opposite sides. Your can breathe peace and tranquility and that is exactly what we were expecting. Decor is high end, a welcomed surprise was the original art throughout, I would only add a couple of comfy lounge chairs in the living. The beach club is top notch and beautiful manicured grounds just outside the private terrace. Hurricane Maria’s pummeling is still evident in some areas of the resort, but the beach is still one of the BEST in Puerto Rico with very little sand errosion, perfect for a morning jog or late afternoon stroll. I highly recommend Villa Athena, staff was attentive, aware and available, communication was prompt and unintrusive. Courtesy refreshments and some food basics where also a very nice surprise. Can’t wait to escape to this little piece of heaven on Earth.

Overall it was a very positive experience and I enjoyed my stay.

The property is beautiful! My family of four (2 children under 6) stayed at Villa Athena for almost a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The villa was perfect and Annette with Marco Polo was so helpful and quick to respond with anything we had questions about. If/when we go back to Puerto Rico we will definitely stay here again!! I guess the best review I can write is that this is the second time staying at this Villa, and I want it again for next year! The staff was very helpful, and everything was in order. The Villa was clean and supplied with some essentials that made our stay a 5 Star stay. I recommend the Villa for anyone looking for a two bedroom place. It is conveniently located and tranquil. And the set up superb. Thanks!

This is a five star experience, a beautiful property packed with fun activities for every member of your family. From golf, tennis and swimming to nature walks, paddle boarding, secluded beautiful beach access and more. There is no need to go offsite, this place has it all. the grounds are maintained beautifully and a range of toys from bikes, boogie boards, sand toys and more are all provided for as a part of the resort fee. I do recommend a rental car to allow for grocery runs and any excursions to rain forest etc. Cabs are somewhat unreliable due to the more remote location. A golf cart is provided to make getting around the expansive resort property fun and efficient. Accomodations were well appointed, clean and tucked into beautiful greenery. Every morning we enjoyed the covered patio. The property owners were extremely responsive and helpful - outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this place - you will not regret!
