The hosts are wonderful. They were lovely to talk with and super helpful. It was like being taken care of by family. The room had excellent amenities/thoughtful touches. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic.

House on Olof Palme is as beautiful a guesthouse as you will find in Windhoek. Clean and well maintained, in a safe area, well run, pool, comfy rooms. Mostly a business crowd and regulars, which speaks for the experience.
But what makes the place special is the hosts. They know when to chat and make one feel welcome, and when to stay in the background to let guests enjoy their stay. Their staff are well trained and always cheerful. Renette's restaurant recommendations were top notch - not a bad meal while we stayed in town. When we left for our inland trip they even provided us with a well-stocked ice box. We are not normally making aquaintances on vacation. But with these two? One simply wants to stay in touch. Thank you both for your warm hospitality! Until we meet again.

The guesthouse is truly a home away from home. all rooms look out on a pretty garden and immaculate pool. The rooms are of a very comfortable size and well equipped. The lounge is very cosy and the dining area light and airy. It is located in a very peaceful area with no traffic.

- bathroom was essential
- water saving approach (put shower cold water in a bucket until it gets warm), could be more effective with appropriate and modern water mixer

We were there at the beginning and end of our amazing trip. Felt like home. Great rest after and before long flights. It was a perfect choice, very clean, comfortable, good breakfast and Great people.

A real home from home - especially welcome after a long flight! We had a SUPERB meal, good sleep, and felt really looked after. Comfortable, clean, and friendly place. Got lots of advice about our trip as well.

I stayed for over a week while visiting family. The hosts, Renette and Dries, are wonderful and make guests feel at home. I enjoyed breakfast every morning sitting outside, overlooking the pool and garden. The guesthouse is in a great location on a quiet street in Windhoek.

first of all:
when we arrived the two owners (a couple) gave us the warmest welcome during our whole trip. They cared a lot, even setting up the appointment for our PCR test and printed the test. They also gave some worthful hints to go for dinner and lunch. This short stay of just one night before going back to our homecountry was a very nice last experience and we will come back every time. Thank you!

Lovely suburb on the edge of Windhoek. Easy to find. Super hosts and superb breakfast. Why stay anywhere else?

The hosts went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Very clean rooms and great amenities. Travelling for work, flexibility is very important to me and I had it 100% at Olof on Palme.
Cant really fault anything. Perhaps a few more options for breakfast would be great in the future.
