I adored the cottage from the moment we walked in. Paul's attention to detail is superb. It was inviting, homely, cosy, thoroughly equipped with everything you could possibly need; oozing character. Amazing back garden that our elderly german shepherd enjoyed. The location is perfect for walking and close to really good eateries. I'd love to return. This was a mini adventure for my birthday and my first time seeing the Flamborough coastline. Breathtaking, with an abundance of seals and even puffins. Magnificent!

Stayed here with my son over Easter. Great location and lovely garden (had the weather been better). Well appointed with a homely feel. Would stay here again

Stairs steep not really suitable for someone who struggles with stairs.

Lovely location and a nice clean welcome. The stove in the snug was perfect and really warmed us after day out in the wind. Really liked the location and we were able to explore Whitby, Filey and Flamborough whilst we were staying. Loads of crockery glasses and we didn't want for anything during our stay. The garden was perfect for our German Shepherd who loves to lie out after exciting and long walks. The cottage was soon warm in the evenings and was a nice environment to relax in after busy days. Thank you Paul. I would recommend to anyone wanting a compact, clean, dry space for exploring from.

Beautiful little cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Quirky with a safe and secure garden for my dog Max. Well situated for Flamborough Head, Bridlington and Filey. The local pub was thoroughly enjoyable too. Great place to stay

Loved our stay in Flamborough. The cottage was lovely with a great private garden. The location was perfect for visiting various beaches. It was really home from home, with everything you could have wished for. Would recommend

The cottage is beautiful and very quirky mixing the old with the new. The garden is amazing and our dogs loved exploring and making it their own for the weekend. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of space so you didn't feel cramped. The only thing I would say is if you are elderly or travelling with children be mindful of the stairs as the bedroom doors open directly onto them as there is no landing. An overall brilliant experience and would love to come again!!

Booked knowing this property is on a quite busy road, narrow drive ( no particular issue there) and no WiFi. Unfortunately the property living room, dining room and stairs had not been cleaned and cobwebs were found just about everywhere. Kitchen,bathroom,bedding and towels were clean. Closer inspection found under furniture hadn’t seen a vacuum cleaner for a while and bedroom drawers needed a deep clean. Our clothes stayed in the cases. It could do with a lick of paint and garden furniture refurbished so it could be used. This is a shame as we did like the cottage. Good location for local shops and pubs and close to main routes north and south. Yes we could have researched the area at home but I would have liked WiFi for local info, maps etc. Tbf, there are plenty of returning visitors so it can’t be all bad.

Very reasonable price

Lovely cottage, photos don't do it justice. You get the reversing into the drive after a couple of goes. Lovely light airy kitchen and snug. Stayed with my two dogs who loved the garden and nearby beaches. Lovely relaxed quiet stay.

it was a lovey cottage the stairs were no problem for us and it was lovely and clean you had everything you needed for your stay our dog Buddy loved the garden didn,t what to leave at the end of the week there were lots of places to vist we had a meal in the seabirds which were very good you have to book a table

Everything about the cottage was great except the parking. We drive a long wheelbase Ford Transit. I gave up trying to back it into the drive after slightly scraping the side of the van. I had to fold in the wing mirrors to have a chance of getting in but then of course I couldn't see!!! I think the narrowness of the drive for large vehicles should be pointed out in the listing. Absolutely fine for ordinary size cars. Otherwise, we have had a lovely comfortable break. Thank you
