Heel vriendelijke gastvrouw, die met veel trots vertelt over hun melkveebedrijf. Gezellig ontbijt samen met de andere gasten rond de grote gastentafel. Mooi ingerichte kamer. De hottub op de kamer was een onverwachte meerwaarde. Stilte garandeert een goede nachtrust. Op fietsafstand van Saint Amand.

The porch was also enjoyable.
The room was generously large.
We had a continental breakfast - rolls and jam with coffee and tea, we could have used more to start our day.

Lovely and stylish design of the building and the interior, very good breakfast with homemade products, exceptionally helpful and friendly hosts, great atmosphere of the place!

La Cense Pierrot des Princes is an excellent Chambre d'hote with several rooms. The one we were allocated had a seperate shower room and a spa bath as well as a small terrace overlooking the main courtyard. It appeared to have been updated quite recently and was very comfortable. It is in a quiet location in the regional park with reasonable access to St Amand, Tournai, Douai and Valanciennes with a small number of restaurants within 5 minutes drive. The hosts are excellent and the breakfast includes a lot of local produce.
The water pressure is quite low, so the shower is not powerful and the spa bath takes a long time to fill.

Breakfast was simple but good local sourced and some homemade elements. The town is very lovely, typical rural Fance and the people are very friendly. Our female hostess spoke good English and did all she could to make us feel welcome

breakfast was great, the balcony was a great bonus, and the jacusi bath tub was great. Especially, the owner gave us a tour of the dairy farm and we saw a baby calf!

Everything was just fine. The owner was very kind. She took her time and showed us her location. We found the stay very comfortable. We as family enjoyed it. Breakfast was very good. Thank you! We would recommend it.

Cozy, location( quiet, 3km from the village), very nice trip to the farm which was wonderful. Host did not speak good English but 5 stars for finding a way to communicate.
Not covid friendly - property organized some gathering/ party with 20-30 people, none of them guests, in the lobby, giving us no options to reach to our room but to literally push trough the crowd.

Very nice modern rooms. We were in the junior suite. Quiet, great location to stay on your way from NL to a location in France.
Really nice hostess, and made no problem that we had our 6yr old with us (for some reason on booking.com sometimes children are not on the final reservation confirmation, even when you selected so)
Would be great if the host would speak some English, but héy, you can’t have it all 😄
Breakfast had GREAT croissants, good coffee and fresh jam. But nothing else, so no cheese or ham.
Ohw, and an additional outlet near the bed, as everyone had a phone to charge nowadays.
