This property was wonderful! Right on lake. So nice to have our boat in a nice deep water dock in front of house. The host was very responsive. We had oven problems but host ordered new appliance. Plus the grill was nice. Quiet. Town of Blue Ridge was fun to explore and shop. Good restaurants. Tubing close by was fun. Living Waters winery most lovely setting and good wine and wine cocktails, plus Cajun food truck.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this great cabin!

Easy to rent. Agreement is strict to avoid loud party groups, but that assured me that we were getting a quiet getaway spot. Lake was low, but the dock is on deep water so lots of depth around the dock. Did some paddleboarsing and kayaking. They supply kayaks. Being in a cove kept the water calm. Enjoyed a day walking about Blue Ridge but mostly just came for the quiet, paddleboarding and fishing. Saw lots of bluegill, sunfish and bass swimming around the dock and shoreline. Big plus was allowing dogs. We brought the pup . No sign of extra wear so we tried to leave it like we found it.

Great place

My family and I very much enjoyed our short vacation on Lake Blue Ridge. The accommodations were cozy and clean, and the view was unbeatable. The dock and kayaks were a big hit, as was the outdoor fireplace. And communications with the owner (Shane) were quick and easy. We would definitely return again and highly recommend this property.

We love taking our boat out on Lake Blue Ridge, but this was the first time renting a lake house/cabin. Shane’s place was perfect and exactly what we were looking for in our weekend getaway with family and friends. The layout was ideal and we all had plenty of space and everything we needed including beautiful views from all the decks!! I highly recommend staying here!

The property was fabulous! Lake was beautiful! Perfect for our family. Two kayaks on property were so much fun. We rented a boat and they delivered to the dock. Smores in the outdoor fireplace, fishing, swimming, boating and lots of fun!

The house was just as advertised. It was perfect for our large group, comfortable, and the deep water spot on lake blue ridge was fantastic.

We had a wonderful family vacation week! Location: Great! Cabin was easy to get to and the cove is one of the best/quietest/deep water coves on the lake. Quiet neighborhood. Accommodations: Plenty of inside and outside room for our family of 6 adults and 1 child. The cabin and furnishings are a bit dated and worn but still very comfortable. A couple of cleanliness issues, but nothing we couldn't remedy ourselves. Just a few dislikes: Dryer didn't work particularly well, no vacuum in the house that I could find, having security cameras looking at us from every angle - felt like "big brother" was always watching us.

A great time with entire family in this immaculate lake house. Responsive owner, all needs taken care of.

My husband and I, teen daughters, and their friends had a wonderful stay at this property. Being right at the lake is great and we spent lots of time sitting on the multiple decks and floating in the lake. We appreciated having a separate den in the basement where the kids could play ping pong and watch tv. There is plenty of space and all the necessary amenities.

We bought groceries and had no need to leave the house. We enjoyed floating in the lake and kayaking as well as the ping pong table. Comfortable beds and spacious home.

We rented the cabin for our annual company retreat. There were 11 total guests and everyone had a comfortable accommodation. There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We loved the ping pong table and games for the rainy days we experienced.

This was our fourth visit to the cabin and surely not the last.

The property is in a great location. There was plenty of room for our family and we really enjoyed our stay. It is definitely a place we will consider returning!!

This property is fantastic!!! The location is perfect. Just far enough for total peace and quiet, but 10 - 15 minutes from anything and everything the area has to offer. The weather didn’t cooperate with us, but the home was large enough for a family group of eleven to all stay indoors, be entertained, and have more than enough space to move around avoiding everyone’s toes. The host has several board games, puzzles, and (our family favorite) a PING PONG TABLE! The one night of agreeable weather was spent at the large and perfectly located outdoor fireplace. It’s the perfect setting for s’mores and popcorn with the kids. The host was amazingly easy to communicate with for all of our rental needs. 10 out of 10 from this large family. We all look forward to our next trip to this perfect home on the lake!
