Although the breakfast was not included in the cost of the accommodation, it was wonderful. We also enjoyed an afternoon snack at the cafe which was first class. There were also a lot of other unexpected touches - chocolates, bubbly water, body soap and shampoo The property is old and very charming - was quite lovely Surrounding gardens also very nice

Location great, we were looking for a spot to stop mid journey. Eling Winery was great location. There was little to no noise from the highway being so close. We got there late and the directions and room location was exactly as described. Being an old building the room was as expected. Old but comfortable, and the heritage features were just beautiful. In the morning it was lovely to see the gorgeous cottage gardens and lake. Would've liked to stay longer to explore the property and winery! Bed was comfy with beautiful bedding and great soft towels which is what you need after a long drive.

The bathroom was tired looking and could do with a spruce up and a cobweb clean out. BUT the shower was hot and amenities provided.

The quaintness

Couldn’t park my car close to the room. I would change the curtains as they were a little tacky.

beautiful property with stunning views. we were there for a wedding so didn’t get the chance to spend much time but next time I come back I will have a picnic by the lake, visit the alpacas & eat at the cafe.

Can hear your neighbours thru the walls which wasn’t great when they arrive at midnight then Proceed to engage in loud telephone cams at 7.40 am.

Room was nice and warm on arrival and we were greeted at the entrance and they took us through all the facilities. Easy instructions to follow and a very hearty breakfast next morning.

Scenic

It wasn’t clear that I’d need to check myself in & out. I thought it’d be more like a hotel.

The bed was beautiful and comfortable. I had a fantastic nights sleep. The room was lovely and very comfortable.

We did not eat breakfast at the location. A list of places to dine was provided which was very helpful and we chose somewhere in Berrima only 10 minutes drive away.

Room was probably a little small for 2 single beds but adequate for 1 night only.

Easy access to the property, just off the Hume, and then close to Sutton Forest and the towns of the highlands. Quiet location in a rural setting. The room was cute and cosy, and the bed, comfortable. Cafe and cellar door right there!

We booked Eling as we attended a wedding in Bowral. It was 15 min from the venue. The room was fantastic with all facilities and very quiet.
